Really, did you ever wonder why the Capitol citizens didn't think the Games were bad? Because society teaches them that the Games are good. It's what everybody's grown up with, they don't know anything different. Sort of like reality TV, where we're all watching Kim Kardashian get divorced for enjoyment. We enjoy watching drama, heartbreak, and fights on reality TV. So if this keeps progressing, we could have something to the likes of the Hunger Games somewhere in the future... Is that scary?

According to the Final Jeopardy question earlier, Suzanne Collins came up with the idea from "seeing young people competing in a reality show on one channel and fighting a war on another"

I hope nothing like that is ever really a thing. It would be terrifying.
