Forget about the classic rivalries like the Bears – Packers, Yankees – Red Sox, and the Rangers – Bruins, the real epic s**t goes down on the mountain. Ever since the dawn of snowboarders, the mountain has been divided between the skiers and the snowboarders. Now that we’re in the twenty – first century, one would think that this was a dying feud, but nope. It’s still quite alive and kicking, and the rivalry probably won't disperse for a while. In Windsor, Colorado, kids at a young age are forced to choose between the two sports and typically stick with their choice for the rest of their lives, sculpting their personality with the sport of choice. Echo Mountain is the local hang out place where all the skiers and snowboarders practice their respective art. However, the war is still going on at full force between the pretentious, rich kid skiers and the disrespectful, 'trash and thrash' snowboarders.

Before, the mountain used to be split up, with the skiers gaining the majority of the mountain while the snowboarders got the better rides; however, they started quarreling with one another about the unequal distribution and were forced to share the mountain. Bad idea? Probably. You can't go a day without a fight erupting between the two talented groups, both of the groups are looking to drive out the other for good so they can claim the mountain. Since Echo Mountain is the best resort in the town, with the best rides that allow the athletes to perfect their skill, obviously neither group are relenting. We've got a war on our hands, who's going to win? Only time will tell.

BASICS
I don't have many rules, but I do ask that you abide the one's that I do have. Don't be a douche. Seriously, just don't, one thing I will not tolerate is blatant disrespect and disregard for others, and I'm pretty sure other people don't like it either. Apart form that, follow the TOS, if you don't know what that is then I would suggest that you read it up.

LITERACY
I won't label what 'level' of literacy this is, so write however much you want and feel will get your point across, but try not to write a novel. Proper spelling is a given (spell check is super dank!) and so is grammar. Slips are fine once in a while, but try not to make it every post. Please refrain from using text talk in posts, the only exception is when your character is sending a text. I don't want any asterisks, hyphens, etc. for your character's actions. When your character speaks, bold it up and color code it, for thoughts italicize it, and as for texts, everyone deals with them differently, just make sure it is separated from the paragraph and we blatantly know that it is a text and whom your character is texting.

POSTING
I'm not going to be a sergeant stiffypants about posting, since life can get pretty hectic and things get in the way, but I would appreciate it if you posted for your character once or twice a weak. If you think/know that you will be absent for a long period of time, please inform me instead of just bailing randomly, especially if someone is waiting on your post. Try to make your post format look nice, which means, at least your character's name and a picture.

PROFILES AND RESERVES
For reserves, if I am not familiar with your awesome skills, then I would like to see at least two to three samples, preferably linked to a sample thread, sent to me via private message, along with the icon thingy for your character. Title your reservations you're character's role. Once I approve the background check and give you the green light, then you can start working on your profiles. Please don't change anything in the skeleton. If there is something that you don't understand or need help with, just PM someone or post the question in the OOC. Title that s**t 'boosting off the snow.'

the modest nice guy x ALL THE SNOWBOARDERS He's the nicest guy there is, the best rider out there, and surprisingly does not have any ego problems. How can anyone not like the guy?

THE RAD TOMBOY x the modest nice guy - Perhaps they should be classified as "frenemies." The nice guy is homies with everyone, but the tomboy is a wee bit jealous of his epic snowboarding abilities and would love to one-up him.

THE RAD TOMBOY x THE CAREFREE PRANKSTER - Both of them like to scrap. Sometimes the slacker is too ADD to train, but she tolerates him. . .sometimes.


CHARASMATIC DRUGGIE x HAPPY GO LUCKY SWEETHEART - These two snowboarders have been friends since they were in diapers. s**t, their parents were bffls, no wonder they became friends! They have the whole brother - sister dynamic going on, arguing at times, but when push comes to shove, they have each other's backs.

MANIPULATIVE KING xthe uptight a*****e - They're both assholes (to some degree), amazing skiers, and loathe snowboarders. Instant friends. the uptight a*****e's his go to guy whenever he needs something or just someone he wants to chill with and talk to. They've been best friends since they first met on the slopes.

HAPPY GO LUCKY SWEETHEART x the uptight a*****e - Didn't see that s**t coming, huh? Despite them doing different sports and essentially complete opposites personality - wise, they're pretty good friends. They bring out the best in each other; she brings the uptight a*****e out of his state of douchebaggery and he puts things in perspective for HAPPY GO LUCKY SWEETHEART and helps her out with whatever she needs. Together they're an unstoppable force.

the adorably clueless best friend x HAPPY GO LUCKY SWEETHEART - They're always the eternally positive ones out of their friend group and always down to cheer people up.

THE SLUTTY SOCIALITE x THE CAREFREE SLACKER] - The slut and the slacker as friends? You better believe it. Something clicked when they met and they remained friends since then. They're close in a friends and more kind of way.

the irresponsible playboy x THE CAREFREE SLACKER - Thankfully these two recognized each other's badassness after being enemies for a while and now are ******** golden. Guess THE CAREFREE SLACKER has a thing for hanging out with sluts?

CONNIVING GOSSIPER x THE DECIEVING OPPOROTUNIST - Their friendship is slightly complicated in that they are always competing with each other. However, neither of them have ever been able to top THE REIGNING QUEEN BEE; hence, why they have teamed up together to take her down.

CONNIVING GOSSIPER x THE REIGNING QUEEN BEE - THE CONNIVING GOSSIPER is a definitely playing the THE REIGNING QUEEN BEE, but they are generally friendly towards one another in public. Additionally, they both share a dislike for the snowboarders.

the modest nice guy x THE CONNIVING GOSSIPER - There is still feelings there, but not enough for THE CONNIVING GOSSIPER to leave her boyfriend for him.

THE REIGNING QUEEN BEE x the modest nice guy - Honestly, what girl doesn't want the modest nice guy? He's a nice guy and an awesome snowboarder, it makes sense that the Queen would want the king of the mountain.

THE REIGNING QUEEN BEE x THE CAREFREE SLACKER - She wants to get back at the irresponsible playboy for cheating on her. What better way than to get with his best friend that's a snowboarder?

HAPPY GO LUCKY SWEETHEART x the uptight a*****e - They won't admit it, partially due to the fact that the latter sometimes won't admit that he's friends with the snowboarder, but mainly because HAPPY GO LUCKY SWEETHEART doesn't want to jeopardize the uptight a*****e's relationship, despite her obvious distaste for THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST.

CHARASMATIC DRUGGIE x the adorably clueless best friend - Needless to say, it's one - sided. Charasmatic Druggie wants her back, bad. Unrequited love's a b***h, eh?

the modest nice guyx the adorably clueless best friend - the modest nice guy, still freshly heartbroken, may or may not have feelings forthe adorably clueless best friend. Don't worry, her feelings for him probably make up for his lack. But would the modest nice guy be willing to break the bro code?

THE SLUTTY SOCIALITE x THE CAREFREE SLACKER - He likes her, but it's unrequited. She's a bit too emotionally available unavailable and is usually found banging his best skier friend. Can't compete with that s**t.

THE RAD TOMBOY x CHARASMATIC DRUGGIE - It's safe to say this is pretty one-sided. The druggie sees her as one of the guys, coupled with the fact that he's still in love with his ex.

MANIPULATIVE KING x CONNIVING GOSSIPER - He's the guy she left the modest nice guy for. He doesn't treat her very well, but in public they act like the picture perfect, lovey - dovey couple. The public face is all that matters, right?

THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST x the uptight a*****e - Their relationship started as a stepping stone for THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST to get the two guys that matter: MANIPULATIVE KING and the modest nice guy Although, THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST appears to legitimately be falling for her boyfriend, but is it enough for her to change her ways? She has a heart of ice and hurts people before they can hurt her.

CHARASMATIC DRUGGIE x the adorably clueless best friend - They used to date way back when, but it just wasn't. . . regular enough for the the adorably clueless best friend, so she broke it off.

the irresponsible playboy x THE REIGNING QUEEN BEE - They were hot and heavy for a while, I'd say around two months, in his time that's like a ******** century. Apparently she was the only girl that could contain the irresponsible playboy and keep him faithful for more than a week.

The adorably clueless best friend is just the only girl not stupid enough to sleep with the guy out of loyalty to the snowboarders and the fact that she's a sweetheart and thinks that sex should be only for committed relationships. However, his most well - known conquests would have to be THE SLUTTY SOCIALITE, THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST, CONNIVING GOSSIPER, and THE REIGNING QUEEN BEE.

THE SLUTTY SOCIALITE x EVERY GUY ON THE MOUNTAIN EXCEPT THE MODEST NICE GUY She and the irresponsible playboy actually have an ongoing competition of who can get the most conquests. Among her favorite, and most well - known conquests are the irresponsible playboy, Charasmatic Druggie and THE CAREFREE SLACKER Additionally, THE SLUTTY SOCIALITE and the irresponsible playboy have a running bet to see who sleeps with their final conquest first! With THE SLUTTY SOCIALITE's final conquest as the modest nice guy and the irresponsible playboy's as the adorably clueless best friend.

CHARASMATIC DRUGGIE x THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST - She's using him to get to the modest nice guy and he goes to her whenever he feels a little lonely.

MANIPULATIVE KING x THE REIGNING QUEEN BEE- C'mon, king and queen, you had to see that coming.

ENEMIES
SKIERS x SNOWBOARDERS - While there may be relationships between the two groups, their loyalty resides within their respective sport. If you ******** with one snowboarder, you get your a** kicked by all of them. If you ******** with one skier, then you'll be mentally tortured, manipulated, and reduced to nothing by all of them. They're basically family, feuding families to be exact. Each group wants the mountain to themselves and will do anything to get that. In short, their sport comes first, friendship comes second.

MANIPULATIVE KING x the modest nice guy - They've been going at it since they met. It all started with the annual competition where each contender takes a glass of beer, and whoever makes it to the bottom of the mountain with the most beer wins. the modest nice guy has won the competition for the past three years, beating out the MANIPULATIVE KING each time, leading the guy to get angry since he's supposed to be the king of the mountain, not the modest nice guy. But it's not all bad for the king, while the modest nice guy is the king of the mountain, the king did get the girl in the end.

THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST x the adorably clueless best friend - If there's one girl that the adorably clueless best friend dislikes (she's too nice to produce any actual hatred), it's THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST. She's seen the way THE DECEIVNG OPPORTUNIST has been looking at her ex, and while they are broken up, the wound is still fresh, going after someone that quick is not cool.

THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST x HAPPY GO LUCKY SWEETHEART - HAPPY GO LUCKY SWEETHEART absolutely can't stand the way THE DECEIVING OPPORTUNIST treats her best skier friend.

THE RAD TOMBOY x female skier trio - The tomboy is a natural firecracker. She's a bit thick-headed and doesn't really click with the inherent douchiness of the bitchy skier girls. Needless to say, the feeling is mutual. Head's up for a potential cat fight! 3 on 1 seems fair, right?

THE RAD TOMBOY x THE CONNIVING GOSSIPER - Thanksgiving sometimes gets a little awkward seeing as though these two are cousins. I guess blood isn't thicker than water?
