SDPlus Gaian Sterek, as you can see on your left, is a 3-pose custom doll designed by Sterek (hey! that's me!) and made by Reapersun after I acquired a Platinum Ticket from the initial Project Dolled Up.

This item, while an obvious tribute to Teen Wolf and the pairing Stiles/Derek, also has a versatile snarling werewolf mouth as its extra pose. The mouth was specifically designed to look good on all skin tones, including the 2k11 Werewolf Skin. It looks great on werewolf, animal, monster and horror-themed avatars.

Here's the deal: SDPlus Gaian Sterek is limited to 25 copies, 15 of which already have a forever home. It means I still have 10 copies I could sell, trade or auction--but only 5 copies I'm for-sure willing to part with in exchange for gold. Since a lot of people are interested and I'm spectacularly broke at the moment, I decided to auction them.

04. Pay attention to the starting bid (1.5 billion), the minimal bid increment (50 million), and of course the current highest bid.

05. Don't quote the first post. Or the second post, for that matter.




FAQ

Q: Do you accept item bids, or item + gold combined?
A: Yes, but please include the items' value in gold (ABP only) when you post. If your items have deflated by the time the auction ends, you will risk losing your slot. Inflation, on the other hand, will not be taken into account--so bid wisely!

Q: Do you accept avatar art as a bid/part of a bid?
A: Not at the moment, sorry!

Q: Can I bid on more than one doll?
A: Yes--but you can only win up to two dolls. This is to avoid all the dolls being purchased by resellers and sold for ridiculously inflated prices to users genuinely interested in keeping them.

Q: Why are you not auctioning all of your remaining dolls?
A: While I might end up auctioning or selling some of them in a distant future, I'm planning on keeping them to trade for other custom dolls I like.

Q: I'm getting a custom doll made. Can we trade?
A: Maybe! I don't collect dolls, so it's all about whether or not I would use your extra pose. PM me the details.

Q: Is there an autobid?
A: Not at the moment. If this changes, I will update this thread accordingly.

Q: Is there a maximum bid increment?
A: No. If you want to bid billions more than the previous bidder to have a better chance, be my guest!

Q: Is there a snipe guard?
A: Yes! At the end of every auction (midnight EDT on the deadline), the highest bidder will have to keep their title for 15 minutes. The auction will continue until this is achieved.

Q: Can you let me know when/if I've been outbid?
A: Unless you specifically request otherwise, you will always be notified (via quote) that you've been outbid. Tinuviel Silma and PhiferWolf will handle this most of the time.

Q: Hey, I have the highest bid and you didn't update the first post!
A: Sometimes I sleep 14 hours in a row. It's a thing that happens.

Q: Did you win or buy your ticket?
A: I opened 450+ Project Dolled up, and what I won was a seller's pity. I bought the ticket for a Halo + 3 billion, which was a lot at the time.

Q: Are your dolls really worth that much?
A: I can't really answer that because prices are subjective and influenced by a lot of factors. I can however tell you some facts: Only 25 copies of SDPlus Gaian Sterek were made, and only 5 of them can be purchased, right here in this thread. The item (or even just the extra pose) cannot and will not be released again, which means that the price can never deflate--only inflate once the auction ends, since they will never be sold again. Prior to this auction, the demand for the dolls was considerably bigger than the number of dolls available. So, in other words...this item is worth however much you're willing to pay for near-exclusivity and a really cool werewolf mouth + set of dolls.
