Tips For getting good grades

I am in my first year of high scool and i am haveing a hard time. I had grate grades all through middle school. But now I am falling behind. Can you give me some hints as to what I should do

i say most of high schools are by the books...

Have plenty of readings...
and be prepare for a lot of memorizations...

high school was easier for me because I realized that it granted me more time to pace myself. You just need to realize that I think. And study. Playing games are fun and all, but in the long run too much of a good thing is bad. I'm not saying give up all that is fun, just realize what's important in life. I'm almost graduating, and looking around at the other kids that entered high school with me, I see what the damage of not planning ahead can do. And stay away from drugs. It's serious. A blunt is harmless, but not when you depend on it to make you happy
