Biography: Being in her early twenties when the world went to s**t, during the initial downfall of the world Mira had just arrived home after a trip with friends to various parties. Having a strong close knit family unit she'd always keep in contact with her parents, being an only child she liked to visit them weekly. So she wanted to stay the night at their place after a long trip with her outgoing pals. Being dragged into the house by her parents with a look of fright. Everything inside was barricaded and boarded. The family of three held up in the Stier household for three days before realizing they couldn't stay there anymore and they had to make a break for it. Making a break for the reliable old station wagon they had packed whatever they could on their way out of the house and drove far away. The town they once lived in had been overrun by runners. Looking back was no longer an option. They drove for days not knowing what direction they were going, but they knew there was bound to be some quarantine zone somewhere close. After a few more days being lost and their car breaking down a few of the military men had found them, taking them in to the quarantine zone. Being assigned a room, her parents were assigned jobs as she as assigned one herself. At the age she was which happened to be too young for anything risky they gave her house food duties. Kept her in the kitchen's. Life in the quarantine zone was not a life at all it was just survival, everyone just hoped all of the horror world blow over. Wanting their normal lives to return. A stupid dream that would never be reality, never again.
When reaching her mid twenties, the age of twenty six Mira was still in kitchen duty. Nothing had really changed for her. Well she'd met a very nice man. there was an age difference of four years but that was nothing. They were extremely close and cared for each other deeply. His name was Freddie, he worked near the wall as a lookout. He was a tall man a little chubby, blue eyes and black hair and well not needed to say. Mira was actually happy. Her parents were safe, that's what mattered to her. One night Mira had stayed late at the kitchen to sneak some extra food for her family as she wanted them to have a nice meal. A soldier had walked in, well he knew she was there. he had been watching her for months. The military had gone rather power hungry over the years, there were good ones but secretly there were corrupt ones. This man was a bad soldier. His approach to her showed his attentions right away, which sent her into a panic. Her first attempt to flee failed as he had tackled her to the cold floor and attempted his intentions. Her second attempt became more violent from both sides. It ended with a knife into the soldiers throat. Climbing out from under the soldier she gathered herself shed gone to people she'd trusted who'd helped her dispose of the body and any evidence of the incident. The only other person she told was her boyfriend, who was angry but when knowing the man was dead all he could do was comfort her. A few weeks after Freddie and Mira went outside to have a reckless date, outside of the walls to see the trees and flowers. Have some romance. Their date was turning out very well, when they were finished with their long date they were heading home until those familiar blood curdling demonic screams rang out. The two ran for their lives but things turned safe as Freddie was bitten, he lifted Mira up into a tree and led the infected away. After that she didn't see him again.
A year later her mother had passed away in her sleep, leaving Mira and her father in mourning. The two were all each other had left. Things were continuing to turn grim over the years but people kept surviving, as they said survival of the fittest. Or the ones who were protected. Mira was taken off Kitchen duty and moved to a more important role as guard duty. Yes a civilian was moved to guard a fence. No it wasn't an entry or exit for the quarantine but it was one she had been assigned a weapon and they taught her how to use a gun. Having shown potential with a weapon she'd taken the job very seriously, wanting to protect the weak and defenseless from the outside dangers.
Daily life was a repetitive act. It felt as if it were living the same day over and over that most people had already fallen into a depression. Dark days left people in dark places. Mira was now in her early thirties, she'd lost her father as he'd committed suicide having finally succumbed to the loss of his wife and fear of losing his daughter, the elderly gentleman couldn't take the life anymore. So Mira had no one left in this world. But she continued on, she didn't want to give up yet. Knowing her mother wouldn't want her to neither would Freddie. Her father had coward out and left her alone, could she blame him? Not really. Did she still love him. Of course. Was she angry with him. Beyond furious. The room she stayed in was empty, just the few of her belongings. Her parents stuff had been taken away to be given to other elderly people, she had no choice. Military had taken it all. Having been approached privately and asked to come talk to the council Mira complied following. As she was then asked to lead a group across a long distance to some lab taking two "special cases" with not much else to go on she left saying she'd think about it. It only took a few hours for Mira to consider this, as she had nothing left at the quarantine zone and this seemed like it was important. Something she could help with. Having accepted, she'd met everyone, they'd packed their things and started their journey.
