♔ ━ ◞ :: DEDICATED ( nobody pushes cassidy harder than herself. when she puts her mind to something she will work as hard as possible to do the best that she can. if she say's that she is going to do something for someone else and she takes every promise she makes to heart, she see's them all as equally important. if she was to let herself or anyone else down she would be devastated.
♔ ━ ◞ :: HOSTILE ( when feeling threatened or under attack cassie goes on the offensive rather than the defensive. she has a short fuse and when tested she can explode although she appears small and petite her temper can make her big and sometimes very aggressive. the same applies when she feels people she cares for are under threat.
♔ ━ ◞ :: LOYAL ( fiercely loyal is probably a better way of describing her. she would take on the world to protect or helped her friends, family or generally her loved ones. nothing could ever make her betry them.
♔ ━ ◞ :: WARY ( cassidy is not great with new people, it takes her a while to warm up to them and whilst getting to know them she keeps her guard up. it can give people the wrong perception of her making her seem aloof or snobbish but the truth is she just wants to protect herself and her feelings. if people take time to get to know her they get to see her fun side.
♔ ━ ◞ :: ENTERTAINING ( this is not always intentional. she can be entertaining because she is clumsy and has accidents at some of the most inopportune moments, she also has quite a dry sense of humor. one of her most entertaining aspects are her facial expressions when cassidy is feeling certain things she can't hid it and her expressions give it away. when she is with people she knows well and trusts she knows how to have a laugh and her complete trust in them leads to some adventurous and highly entertaining moments.
♔ ━ ◞ :: DOUBTFUL ( despite being dedicated and loyal cassie can be very doubtful of herself. she often has moments where she worries that she will let herself down by not doing her best or that she will let other people down. she can be very insecure with herself and how others see her.
♔ ━ ◞ :: SARCASTIC ( this is neither a positive or a negative trait. it's both. her sarcasm can be very funny and entertaining but her dry sense of humor can also be inappropriate and sometimes rude. cassie's sarcasm can also be misinterpreted as her being mean when that is very rarely her intention. it has gotten her into trouble at times.

《 ♕: BAKING // ✧ cassidy has been baking since she was a young child. she started off baking with her mother who taught her all the necessary techniques she needed to make cakes, pastries and other kinds of confectionery. if she has had a particularly troubling day nothing calms her down like baking does.
《 ♕: PERCEPTIVE // ✧ cassidy is good at reading emotions and situations. most of the time she can tell when someone is blatantly lying to her or taking her for a ride. she doesn't know where the skill came from it's just something she has always been able to do. she can't read everybody mainly just the people she is close too.
《 ♕: MEMORY // ✧ she does not have an eidetic memory or a superhuman memory just a good one. cassie is able to remember general things she can quote her favorite books, movies, songs and even sometimes conversations she has with people. educationally her memory is good but she has to work at it. that means endless revision charts, flash cards, colour coded notes and reading through things, luckily she is a fast reader so she can get through her notes pretty quickly. although she has a good memory it is by no means perfect and sometimes she over crams it and little things begin slipping out.
《 ♕: NO FILTER // ✧ when she is frustrated, tired, isn't thinking or just doesn't care she can forget to think before she speaks. this can lead to her getting herself into trouble or offending people. when she doesn't filter her words she simply just says the first thing that pops into her head and once she has said it she can't take it back. when this does happen cassidy has a tendency to dig herself into a hole making the situation worse for herself.
《 ♕: CLUMSY // ✧ cassie is accident prone, there is no other way of putting it. she drops things, knocks things over and even trips over her own feet. she has managed to break her arm and fractured her wrist before through her clumsiness. it is always more pronounced when she is tired or distracted.
《 ♕: MESSY // ✧ cassie is not a tidy person. she hates cleaning and she always makes a mess. when studying she can often be found surrounded by pages of notes. to other people it is just mess and there is no organisation to her but that's not true. it's simply chaotic organisation designed specifically for her. her belongings are often strewn everywhere and that's the way she likes it. if things are too clean it seems to sterile to cassidy. the only time she is clinical and clean is when she is working in the science labs. that's why her personal abodes are always much messier a metaphorical distinction between professional and relaxed/home life.
《 ♕: BAD HABITS // ✧ she has many bad habits such as nail biting, lip biting and chewing on pens and even her hair. her worst habit by far though is her lack of sleeping or over sleeping. she often finds herself exhausted because she has stayed awake for the majority of the night or found herself oversleeping and therefore running late or missing appointments.

《 ♕: OO1. // ✧ cassidy was born in ireland to tiffany and robert blake. she was the youngest of three children and has two older brothers.
《 ♕: OO2. // ✧ the family relocated from ireland to seattle when she was ten years old. the family moved for two reasons. the first was a job offer for cassie's father who is a nurse and the second reason was so that the family would be closer to their aunts family (cassie's mother's sister). despite leaving ireland at quite a young age she has kept her rich irish accent although it has softened.
《 ♕: OO3. // ✧ cassidy's love of books came from her father. whenever he father had a late shift at the hospital he would come home and curl up with cassie and she would read him a few pages of a book together until they both fell to sleep. her father would also set her challenges with books telling her to read them within a certain amount of time. it was how she and her father bonded.
《 ♕: OO4. // ✧ she has a massive sweet tooth and this she blames on her mother. as a child cassidy and her brothers were always given sweets a cakes due to her mother's passion for baking. tiffany shared this passion with her daughter which lead to cassie's love of baking.
《 ♕: OO5. // ✧ cassie's fear of water is a result of an accident when she was six years old. she had been playing near a river with her brothers one summer. being as clumsy as she is she had managed to fall into the river, she didn't know how to swim but she kicked for the surface but her foot was caught. eventually her oldest brother had dragged her out of the water but since that day she has been terrified of deep water and she has never learned how to swim.

♔ ━ ◞ :: SOCIABLE ( he will talk to anyone and everyone, in fact he may talk too much. nolan doesn't like to be alone for long periods of time. being alone every now and then is fine but if he is alone for too long he ends up talking to himself or inanimate objects.
♔ ━ ◞ :: EGOTISTICAL ( nolan isa little self-centered, he likes to think that he is unique, he is the funniest and basically he's pretty awesome. he isn't quiet about expressing these opinions of himself. this has the tendency to annoy some people. but this doesn't mean he doesn't care about other people, so don't assume that.
♔ ━ ◞ :: ENERGETIC ( if he was a toy he would be a bouncy ball. he seems to have an unlimited amount of energy and he always seems to be moving. nolan hates sitting still. some might say he is on a constant sugar rush. his energy even comes out in his mannerisms in the form of exaggerated arm or hand movements.
♔ ━ ◞ :: MISCHEVIOUS ( his mind is constantly working on jokes and pranks and ways to get himself (and possibly others) into trouble. this trait can result in people either getting angry with him or not trusting him, he doesn't want to hurt anyone just have some fun. sometimes people need to lighten up and have some fun.
♔ ━ ◞ :: OPTIMISTIC ( nolan tries to see the best in any given situation and it's very rare that he can't. his whole perspective on life is a good one, he ignores the bad things and can often find silver linings in the darkest of clouds. some people see it as naive but it gives him the motivation to face any task.
♔ ━ ◞ :: IMPULSIVE ( nolan does not think before he does something. he simply jumps in hopes for the best and tries to help. this is a bad thing because it can often lead to him making a situation worse. he'll try to help people but more often than not the situation ends up worse than before he was involved.
♔ ━ ◞ :: TOLERANT ( despite being a bit of a prankster and mischievous he is tolerant, very tolerant. he does not discriminate against anyone and it's very rare that he doesn't like someone. he nolan doesn't get easily offended and if someone was to tease him or make a snide comment he would simply laugh it off and he wouldn't hold a grudge. the only exception to this is when it comes to willow. if you upset his sister you've automatically made an enemy of nolan and that won't change but lucky you you're on a rare and small list.

《 ♕: CREATIVE // ✧ nolan has a creative mind. not necessarily in an arty way although some of his practical jokes could be considered artful. his creativeness comes out in different ways and one of those is his story writing. his mind works in a way that he can invent a plot and add in twists and turns. being creative also helps him to be witty.
《 ♕: FEARLESSNESS // ✧ this does not mean that he never get's scares or feel fear because everyone does. but nolan does not worry about things that other people do. he is not afraid to appear or act a fool. he won't sit and worry about things that have happened if he ends up looking an idiot he will laugh it off and just forget about it. to him there is no point worrying about things that have already happened. once it's happened he just moves on.
《 ♕: CASUAL // ✧ nolan doesn't take himself seriously, this means that he can approach almost anything and not worry too much about the outcome. when it comes to himself he doesn't expect too much so if he ends up doing something very well he is happy.
《 ♕: SHORT ATTENTION SPAN // ✧ if he finds a task dull or pointless he will easily get distracted. sometimes he has so much going on in his head that he finds it difficult to focus on one task which means he jumps from one task to another. this flaw means that often tasks are not completed to the best of his ability.
《 ♕: ILLOGICAL // ✧ nolan does not think logically in anyway. he does not sit and think about things or figure out the most rational approach to solving something. instead he jumps in with both feet and can often end up making it worse for himself or the person he is trying to help. despite meaning well it can cause conflict or upset with other people especially if he has to work as part of a team. most people want to avoid working with him or simply tell him to sit still, be quiet and don't touch anything. this also gives him problems in classes where you have to be logical such as math and science they are certainly his weakest subjects and something that he does not enjoy.
《 ♕: NAIVE // ✧ although nolan is not stupid, he is quite naive. because he is friendly with pretty much anyone he doesn't comprehend that others may not be quite so friendly and that people have their own motives. he has be used by others in the past but he still considers those people to be nice people. it takes a lot for him to realize that not everybody can be considered a friend.

《 ♕: OO1. // ✧ nolan was not as devastated about his parent's divorce as willow was. he remembered how unhappy his parents had been together and he understood their decision to separate.
《 ♕: OO2. // ✧ despite being ok with the divorce nolan became more distant with his father, their relationship has never been the same especially since his step-mother came into the picture. he doesn't argue with the guy it's more like indifference despite staying with him during the school year.

《 ♕: OO4. // ✧ he doesn't enjoy academics very much, he finds classes dull and always thinks he could be doing other things that are much more fun. that doesn't mean he is stupid just spirited. despite not paying much attention in class he still manages to pass most of his classes.
