Morning was crawling along the crisp antique white bed sheets and curling itself around the boy lying in the bed, hugging every single curve and crevasse of his body. An invisible mist of sorts, covering him like a thick blanket that was completely unwanted by the boy who was burying his face into the plush pillow and clutching onto the sheets as if someone were going to drag him off to hell at any moment. It was like hell to him when it came to waking up during those early hours of the morning in order to get ready for something he didn’t even want to bother with. Julian Keller, was not a morning person, and nor would he ever be.
Already half-awake, he could hear a rather harsh sound breaking through his sleep and was barely able to place it as an alarm before the sleep started to fall back around him. Maybe he could just lay there and not bother with going to his classes? That idea was always floating around his head, a temptation he never found himself giving into since it would open a door he didn’t want to walk through. Not showing up to his classes would put him behind in work, make Mrs. Frost come after him for a long talk, have friends worry about him, and he’d probably be faced with boredom. So skipping his classes wasn’t an option but waking up just wasn’t something that Julian wanted to do.
Jumping from his bed after throwing back the sheets, the male dashed into the bathroom connected to the main room and washed his face since traces of saliva were still drying on his skin. When he grabbed a small towel and used it to dry his face off, he paused slightly as he looked at himself in the mirror. " To think I still drool..." spoke Julian followed by a small chuckle. A rude awakening, it certainly was but at least this way he was actually out of bed and not still sleeping. Julian dried his face off and put the towel back before going out into the room to get whatever clothes he planned to wear for the day. A nice, relaxing shower was what he needed to clear his head from the nightmares that plagued his mind.
When he stepped out, his fingers gripped onto a towel that he used to dry himself off before running it through his hair enough times so it was mostly dry. Out of everything of himself, his hair was certainly his favorite and he had an obsession of sorts in making sure that it was perfect at all times. Typically, after messing around with it in the morning his hair was pretty much set for the rest of the day. Julian reached at that moment to grab his clothes that were folded on the sink counter top, taking them out into the main room where he’d change. Setting his clothes on the bed, the freshly cleaned boy pulled on a pair of black boxers before getting dressed completely. Going back to the bathroom to discard the towel and brush his hair so it was all swaying to the right today, he set on doing all his usual bathroom activities for the morning routine and ending it with the usual spray on of his cologne.
Now that he was dressed, it was time to continue with his daily routine. That of course meant heading to class first. As he left the confines of his room, various students were running through the hallway. Either late or rushing to not be late, they continued on their way. However, two students were running quickly with water balloons out to the back of the school. Clearly intrigued now, Julian took of after the two males only to see a water balloon fight. His teacher Wolverine, upon spotting him, had called for him to come over. Sprinting to his teacher's side, he was told the game plan. Not only that, but he was given use of his powers for this instance.
With that order, a wicked smile appeared on his face. Buckets of water balloons were set on the ground near him as the other continued trying to flank their opponent. After a quick nod to his teammates, the attack was on. His blue eyes opened slowly to look at those around him. They were fighting hard, and there was no way he'd be beaten at a game he basically controlled. Now, Julian's eyes became green. Seeing Katlina, the balloon thrown by Pres would have been circled in a green orb before it exploded, its contents falling to the floor before reaching her. As he lifted his arms up the twenty water balloons that were in the buckets around him rose from their positions and into the air. Following up into the air after the balloons, he spotted Prestidigitation along with Nightcrawler a bit behind him. A small smirk appeared on his face now as he sent all the balloons hurling towards the two males with just a wave of his arm. The balloons were covered in a green silhouette that would let any and all know, that Julian had joined the war.
Watching from the skies now as the water balloon war continued, Julian smiled. They hadn't had this much fun is such a long time, and to see his friends smiling was great. It was however becoming increasingly harder to win the war since now other students were beginning to use their powers as well. Unfortunately, while Hellion took a look around via the air, a few mutants had supercharged their water balloons and tossed them in his direction. Upon taking the full force of the balloons, he was drenched and falling from the air. Thankfully one of the other student mutants had used their control over the winds to land him safely.
Julian's leader in this war, Wolverine, was being attacked by Scott, which meant that it was time to help even the odds. Saving energy now, he and two other male students grabbed a few water balloons and ran over to Scott. Pelting him with water balloon after water balloon, Julian couldn't help but continue laughing. It was just so much fun, to not be in class.
