Who am I?

→My name is Kanen Onobis but you can call me Seeker I was born 24 years ago as a Male on September 6 I am one of the Turiqan, and I am Warrior / Hunter

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

→What am I like? I suppose you could say that I'm A man of few words. He allows his actions to speak louder than his words.He will rarely interact with anyone unless he thinks it is wise to do so. He is a man of honor , taught to follow a strict warrior code. Unlike most Turiqan he is rather calm. A bit to calm to be precise. Even when provoked he will rarely enter a fight merely to prove his superiority. All though he has a good sense of reason most of his decisions are based on nothing more than instinct. He is a natural born hunter with exceptional skill. Most of the time he is one step ahead of his prey. He finds no honor in defeating the weak .

A Little More About Me.

→ This is how I came to be who I am today.
The Onobis clan. The descendants of an ancient Turiqan bloodline. The clans history is shrouded both in mystery and in legend.It is said that their bodies contain the vengeful spirits of both man and beast. They were the ultimate hunters of the Turiqan. They were both highly respected as well as feared even by their own kin.During the Turiqans oppression of slavery the clan was nearly wiped out. Only a handful survived during their time of slavery. As the years went by their numbers staidly grew and it seemed that all was well once again. But it would seem that the gods did not favor them. 20 years ago a plague broke out killing many in its wake. The Onobis were almost completely annihilated. Only one survived that fateful incident. The latest edition to the clan. A young boy named Kanen. Somehow he managed to survive the dreadful plague. But the incident had left him cold and emotionless. He isolated himself from his fellow Turiquan , spending most of his days in the vast wilds. Still he respected his role in the clan and pulled his own weight. Like most Onobis he had become a hunter , gathering food for the tribes people. As the years went by he grew stronger and more skilled . Still he never was truly excepted by his own kind. The Onobis may have been nearly wiped out but the myths surrounding them didn't fade. It was said that he was more beast than human. A vile spirit in the shape of a man. But seeing as how he was providing for the people he was rarely confronted. But all this changed not to long ago. As he was wandering threw the wilderness he spotted a group of Turiqan scouts . They had captured a young Isloran maiden and were attempting to rape her. Enraged by the scene he slaughtered most of the scouts. Tho one managed to escape and reported back to the village. Kanen was caught,shackled and tossed in a cage like a filthy animal. Because of his actions he is to be executed in public. He now awaits his fate , slowly rotting in his cell. It would seem that his spirit had been broken. Or has it?

→ My abilities and skills were hard-earned. Let me tell you what I can do! Kanen possesses the Eyes of Dusk.It is a basic Onobis trait .It is also the reason as to why the Onobis were such successful hunters. Kanen has superhuman vision able to see objects from far distances and in fair detail. He is also able to see exceptionally well in the dark. The Eyes of Dusk also enable him to sense life energy which makes him a potent tracker.

Kanen like most Onobis is also able to enter a state known as the Ancestral wrath. By taping into the spirit energy locked within his body he enters an animalistic like rage. In this state his speed strength and reflexives dramatically. He is unable to enter this state willingly since he hasn't yet unlocked the abilities full potential. Most of the time it is either triggered by rage or hateful feeling.

As for weapons skills Kanen like most hunters is quite skilled with a bow and arrow. But his main weapon is a longsword which he uses with deadly force.

Their job was to hunt down potentially dangerous threats in the surrounding solar system.Their unique technology made them an elite fighting force. On his last mission he was sent along with his squad to investigate a planet that was said to be smuggling illegal weaponry. He hasn't been heard from since. Is presumed dead.

XXXXXXXXXX»»»Biography: The son of the previous Reikage the infamous Gonoru , Adonai was born knowing that he would eventually take his fathers place. Sadly his father died one year ago leaving Adonai with all the responsibilities of a Kage.Like most Marofuma he was trained to be a mighty warrior both in mind and in body. His teachers taught him in the ways of the shinobi and with each passing day he was growing closer to becoming a great Kage like his father. But his father wasn't the only one he got his talent from. His mother Aion was a rogue ninja from the Hidden Mist Village. Apparently his parents were lovers until war broke out. Adonai was left in front of his fathers doorstep as a baby so he doesn't really know her.

But his mother didn't really give him away empty handed. Being a rogue ninja his mother dabbled in the forbidden jutsus. As soon as the boy was born she placed a seal on him known as the seal of the storm bringer. Growing up he along with his superiors realized that he had a strong affinity to lightning. For what reason he was given this seal is still uncertain. But whatever the reason was the result was a ninja with superior control over lighting. His father was always wary of this and taught him to use this power for the greater good. Now he serves as the Raikage and will do anything to preserve the peace in his village.

When this seal is activated his lightning jutsu abilities are more powerful . The seal also gives him a slight immunity to lightning attacks used on him.

It is uncertain where the Onobis originated from. Some say they were a nomadic tribe that came from a distant land. For many generations the Onobis had passed down their mysterious and unique skills and jutsus. But the one thing that made the Onobis different from all the ninja was their chakra , known as phantom chakra.Phantom chakra is highly unstable but with the right training and enough discipline it can be controlled. Those born in the Onobis clan must wear special seal wrappings to keep the phantom chakra from seeping out of their body from the day they are born. But those that do manage to control this unique chakra wield a powerful weapon indeed.Phantom chakra replenishes itself much quicker and is much richer in energy then ordinary chakra.Its so thick that it can even be seen by the naked eye as a dim white aura(hence the name phantom chakra) Even though the Onobis clan wielded massive power they lived in solitude,hidden from the rest of the world and worshiping Akun ( The Onobis religious deity believed to have granted them their unique chakra). The Onobis people were pacifists and their teaching tought that all could be solved with peace and wisdom. During the last great ninja war the Onobis donated a lot of their riches to help neighboring countries rebuild.Because of their past good deeds the leaders of the different lands at the time agreed to allowing the Onobis to live as a neutral village and also keeping their existence a secret. Only the higher ups knew of their existence. Being the son of the clan leader,Kanen was given privileges such as access to all the Onobis secret codex's and superior training.

. Kanen was also one of the only Onobis members allowed to leave his village. At a young age his father sent him to many different lands where he spent time learning ant training with many different wise men and warriors. As he steadily became older it became clear that Kanen was no ordinary child,even by Onobis standers. By the age of 10 he was able to control his phantom chakra without the use of his seal bandages. He had mastered this years before his time. He was recognized as a prodigy and was well on his way to becoming as strong if not stronger then Imitaro himself.Even though the Onobis people were peace loving they still had their enemies . One fateful day the Onobis clan was wiped out during a surprise attack. Every man,woman and child was killed. Their temples,shrines and homes burnt to the ground. But as luck would have it one of the clan members survived. Kanen who was 12 years old at the time was visiting a neighboring country during the time of the attack. When he returned to find his home in ruins,his loved ones dead he was completely devastated. This was a dark chapter in Kanens life. He wandered the land aimlessly trying to make sense of what had happened. As the days passed his anger and rage grew within him.Putting aside his clans principals and religious beliefs he lives to avenge his clan. He was found by a group of patrolling ninja and was taken back to the Hidden Stone village. The Tsuchikage seeing the boys power decided to raise him within the village as one of his own.

The half bloods witch are ninja that have inherited the chakra but not in its fullest form . And then there is the full bloods also known as noble bloods. These ninja can use the chakras fullest potential. Noble bloods are direct descendants of Imitaro. Noble bloods are the only ninja that can learn the sacred jutsus of the clan. Those that wield phantom chakra are unable to inherit any elemental affinity whatsoever.

XXXXXXXXXX»»»Phantom fist jutsu: The fighter channels the phantom chakra into his fists. By doing this the fighters hits become more damaging.

XXXXXXXXXX»»»Phantom blaze jutsu: The user compresses phantom chakra into his hand. As the chakra starts to compress it begins to heat up. The chakra eventually becomes super heated and eventually bursts emitting a blinding light that gives the user an opportunity to flee from a potentially dangerous threat or to create a distraction.


XXXXXXXXXX»»»Phantom roar jutsu: For this jutsu to work the user must have phantom fist jutsu activated. The user slams his fists together creating a shock wave that travels 40 feet in each direction around the user . The shock wave disrupts the flow of chakra to whoever is caught in the blast zone. This makes it much harder for the enemy to channel their own chakra. If the shock wave is strong enough it can even deflect projectiles such as kunai .


XXXXXXXXXX»»»Phantom lance jutsu:The fighter channels his phantom chakra into one point in the palm of his hand. This jutsu also requires the user to stand still since the channeling process takes concentration. After enough chakra has been collected the fighter hurls his arm forward creating a long beam of chakra that can reach up to 50 feet in length.


XXXXXXXXXX»»»Akuns avengers jutsu:This jutsu diverted from the clone jutsu technique. The user creates a maximum of four clones. The clones look nothing like the user . They are made up of phantom chakra making them look more like shinning ghouls. This makes them completely useless for diversions or stealth missions. But they do have a rather interesting function. The clones are highly unstable . A punch could easily make them detonate . The user can use the clones to target the foe detonating when close enough.

Kenric was born and raised in a guild known as the Brotherhood of Dawn. The guild was a powerful organization that collected rare relics. They believed that by these relics they could restore order in the land. Kenric was a grand chanter of the guild responsible for acquiring these relics. He was taught in both armed combat and in the ways of magic. Being a chanter he specialized in the arts of runic magic , bounding the magical attributes to enchanted words. The guild was influential in the old day. Noble men as well as war lords came to them seeking many treasure. But the Brotherhood of Dawn had a far more important role than just being a a guild of collectors.

It was their job to make sure these powerful instruments didn't fall into the wrong hands. They acted as guardians making sure that no immoral man ever obtained any item that could prove destructive.But these were the old days. Before the assassination of the king. When his son rose up and dethroned him the guild was assaulted and many of the items were confiscated. Many members of the guild were either locked away or executed. Kenric managed to escape just before the assault. He is now a wanted man and is currently keeping a low profile. He is seeking a very rare artifact that had been taken from the guilds treasury. He has a bone to pick with the new king.

Being the son as well as the future guardian of the clan Kanen was entrusted with the Truthful eye. The technique allows him to counter almost any genjutsu for a short period of time. It is an ancient technique only given to a selected few. The technique is usually mastered by the head of the clan and it is an indicator that he is of noble Onobis blood. But there are also techniques that are forbidden within the clan. The phantom form is one such. By taping in to the subconscious one can use the phantom forms fullest potential . Seeing as how the technique was to unstable and dangerous it was baned and hidden away . Not much is known about this technique since the only two people ever able to master it were Imitaro and Kanen. Kanen only managed to use this technique once and it nearly took his life.

»»»Phantom fist jutsu: The fighter channels the phantom chakra into his fists. By doing this the fighters hits become more damaging. While this technique is active he cannot wield any ordinary metallic weapons such as kunai.



»»»Phantom blaze jutsu: The user compresses phantom chakra into his hand. As the chakra starts to compress it begins to heat up. The chakra eventually becomes super heated and bursts emitting a blinding light that gives the user an opportunity to flee from a potentially dangerous threat or to create a distraction.



»»»Phantom roar jutsu: For this jutsu to work the user must have phantom fist jutsu activated. The user slams his fists together creating a shock wave that travels 40 feet in each direction around the user . The shock wave disrupts the flow of chakra to whoever is caught in the blast zone. This makes it much harder for the enemy to channel their own chakra. If the shock wave is strong enough it can even deflect projectiles such as kunai .



»»»Phantom lance jutsu:The fighter channels his phantom chakra into one point in the palm of his hand. This jutsu also requires the user to stand still since the channeling process takes concentration. After enough chakra has been collected the fighter hurls his arm forward creating a long beam of chakra that can reach up to 100 feet in length.



»»»Akuns avengers jutsu:This jutsu diverted from the clone jutsu technique. The user creates a maximum of four clones. The clones look nothing like the user . They are made up of phantom chakra making them look more like shinning ghouls. This makes them completely useless for diversions or stealth missions. But they do have a rather interesting function. The clones are highly unstable . A punch could easily make them detonate . The user can use the clones to target the foe detonating when close enough.




»»»Phantom walk jutsu:The user channels his phantom chakra into his feet. The user gains tremendous speed and can dodge incoming attacks much easier. This jutsu can take many years to master. Although his speed is increased his reflexes aren't therefor making it fairly hard to dodge attacks when in this state.



»»»Raging ghoul jutsu:For this jutsu to work the user must use phantom lance jutsu. The user hurls the lance into the ground. Once he has done that he starts to release a big amount of phantom chakra. Beams of chakra start to shoot around the user covering an area of about 50 feet and causing sever damage to whoever it hits. Though this skill is not very accurate since the beams start to erupt in random locations.



»»»Phantom canon jutsu:For this jutsu to work the user must master the phantom walk jutsu. As the user dashes using the phantom walk jutsu he channels a high quantity of phantom chakra into his fist and drives it into the opponent.The kinetic impact along with the phantom chakra fueling the punch can create severe damage and destruction.



»»»Phantom talon jutsu :The user covers the tips of his finger with a layer of phantom chakra witch he than uses to slash at his opponent. The attack causes no physical damage. But it is quite efficient ant cutting threw chakra. The more the opponent is hit the more chakra he or she losses.




Sacred jutsus of the Onobis:



»»»8 arms of the demigod jutsu: the user channels his phantom chakra onto his back and creates 8 large arms . When this technique is used the user must keep his real hands together to keep the arms from canceling out. The arms can stretch quite some distance . The tips of their fingers are razor sharp enabling them to parry the sharpest blade or slice threw flesh. The user can also use the arms to lift object that would be to heavy otherwise. the arms can even be used to defend from incoming attacks.



»»»Akuns wrath jutsu:The user has mastered the phantom jutsu to such an extent that he can form a punishing lance in each hand with ease.The user thrusts both lances into the ground and releases a high quantity of phantom chakra. Huge beams of phantom chakra start to shoot out of the ground covering an area up to 200 feet in each direction. This jutsu dwarfs the ordinary phantom lance jutsu.



»»»Akuns curse:The user must be close enough to touch his target with this jutsu. When in close enough range he channels phantom chakra threw his finger and injects in into his foe. Phantom chakra is extremely aggressive. It acts almost like a parasite eating away at ordinary chakra to charge itself. The process is rather slow and it goes into three fazes:
-Faze one: The foe will usually get a fever. His body will start to get weak as the phantom chakra starts to move threw out his body.
-Faze two: After a few houers the foe will start to fell his chakra depleting at a faster speed. Then the hallucinations start to kick in as the chakra starts to move up towards the brain. Soon after a slight paralysis starts to kick in.
-Faze three: After a day the foe is in a critical state. A sensation of burning starts to spread threw out the body. Most of the foes chakra has now been devoured. The foe is unable to use jutsus. The foe is extremely close to death.

The jutsu is rarely fatal since it takes such a long time to take effect. An experienced medical ninja can easily extract the chakra out of the body.



»»»Phantom form:The user goes into a trance and allows his subconscious to take over. The user then goes into what is known as the dream state witch takes many years of meditation to master. The phantom chakra then start to rage within his body. The user is then covered in a thick coat of phantom chakra. His strength ,speed,concentration and accuracy increase dramatically . The user can then use jutsus without using hand seals. The chakra capacity skyrockets as the body no longer tries to hold back the overflowing chakra. After this form is canceled out the user chakra is completely depleted making him completely useless in battle until he can replenish.




TAIJUTSU:


»»»Phantom slayer: A taijutsu passed down the Onobis bloodline. When the user moves his body seems to emit a white haze making it hard to read the users moves. The user attacks with a series of kicks and punches that are kind of unpredictable.



GENJUTSU:


»»»Truthful eye jutsu:For one to master this jutsu one must keep his eye closed for 20 whole years from the day he is born.If one has done so he can for a thin lair of phantom chakra over his eye. This combination allows the user to see threw genjutsus.All though this skill is extremely useful it does have a slightly negative side affect. If the user keeps the jutsu activated for to long he starts seeing illusions witch the users own brain starts to portray.The user can even start to lose track of reality.

Kenric was taken to the military prison in Utah where he was kept as a prisoner of war. For a whole two and a half years he remained in his cell . Back than U.S. forces were drastically low.The military started offering prisoners freedom in exchange for their services in the army. It didn't take long for Kenric to comply. Than the war in Korea started. Kenric was shipped across where he was stationed in a military base located somewhere in midland China where he was to help and contain the enemy forces from crossing into Europe. Years passed and eventually his skills were noticed by a very elite military group. The OWD ( Orbital watch defense). The OWD were an elite military force stationed on the moon. Their job was to hunt down potentially dangerous threats surrounding the world as well as keeping an eye on any potential nuclear threats. There he was genetically enhanced with a new blood substitute known as MANA. MANA was originally created to help astronauts cope with the dangers of deep space travel. The military quickly changed that. Kenric was placed in a elite military unit known as the ODST ( Orbital drop shock trooper ) where he became an infiltration expert. He was a part of many top secret recon missions. From the cold tundra forests of Siberia to the dense African suburbs of Ibadan. You name it. That was before the Earth was evacuated. And just when things seemed like they couldn't get any worse it did. An unknown alien race have been spotted orbiting Earth. Even with the current threat surrounding their previous home world he has been given orders to accompany a group of scientist and help them finish their objective. And that is precisely what he plans on doing.

❂❂personality _ ┊Calm. A bit to calm to be precise. He seems as cold as a machine rarely showing any emotion whatsoever. He will rarely interact with anyone unless he thinks it is entirely necessary. He seems to constantly be in though as if reliving some sort of past event. He is a very obedient soldier constantly putting himself in the line of fire without hesitation. He always thinks before he acts. Being a sniper he always needs to be one step ahead of his target.

Long way from home...

I jump feet first into hell...I am ODST

Strange. A few centuries ago humans were still dreaming about going into space. Every third child wanted to be an astronaut when they grew up. Now everyone just wanted to return to the boring old rock they called home where it was apparently nice and safe. How ironic. Kanen gazed threw a small window in his room into the vast darkness of space. Their ship floating so insignificantly threw the dark void. He was leaning back into his chair, feet on top of the desk witch was stacked with a whole bunch of reassembled gun parts. Kanen would occasionally take a few minutes polishing his weapon making sure that everything was in order. Sure the ship had a weapons expert for that. But he personally didn't trust anyone with his guns. If you trust someone with your gun you are basically trusting them with your life. That was what his former ODST squad captain told him anyway.

After he was done reassembling his weapon he placed it back into a silver metal suitcase and pushed it under his bed. Figuring that he still had a little time left he started doing some push ups followed by a series of pull ups. It was important to stay physically active while traveling threw deep space. There was no way in hell he was going to let himself get sloppy. Who would have known that the road he had taken all those years ago would have eventually lead him here. It defiantly was one hell of a trip. Honestly it was a miracle that he made it this far. He had been in some tight spots back in his ODST days. He had seen mighty men fall and fearless soldiers cry. Humans had been familiar with war. It was in their blood. But this. This was different. This wasn't about territory or natural resources. This was about survival. Survival of their species. The Covenant was a danger that the human race had never encountered in the past. Even with the Spartans hope was fading by the day. but despite all this humans fought on. There wasn't really any choice really. It was either fight or lay down and die.

His eyes became heavy as he eventually sat back down on his chair and stared out the window. He was to meet his new team. A Spartan team at that. Even thought he went threw the Spartan program , he still felt as if he belonged with the ODST. After he had lost everything they were the closest thing he could consider family. However this was no longer his decision. He had his orders. As did all men of war. His attention than turned to the speaker on the wall as a voice addressed him :" 147. We are about to board the UNSC carrier Winter's Morning . Time to gear up. Its time you met your new friends. " Taking in a deep breath he stepped out from his sitting position and headed to the next room. As the lights switched on they revealed a room filled weapons of different shapes and sizes. At the end of the room encased in a glass dome was his suite. His ODST Battle Dress Uniform. But this wasn't any ordinary ODST . It was specifically modified for Spartan use. It wasn't as armored as the MJOLNIR assault armor . But it had all the right gadgets.

As soon as he equipped the appropriate weaponry and suited up he headed for the bridge. They were nearing the UNSC Winter's Morning. Eventually the ship was in their sights. It was much bigger then the one Kanen was currently in. But than again it was carrying important cargo. Including his new squad. As soon as they were close enough he could hear the ships captain send out the request to board the Winter's Morning. With the ships approval Kanen boarded a smaller pelican and flew into the ships docking bay. As soon as he stepped onto the platform he was approached by two higher ranking officers :" 147. Glad to have you aboard. I can assure you our men feel much safer knowing that there is another Spartan on bored. I am sure that you received the proper briefing. So I suggest you address your captain. Helena-115. She is in the mess hall with some of the others if I am not mistaken. You should hurry . She doesn't like waiting. " Nodding to the mans request he walked of to the pointed direction. He hadn't muttered a single word since he had boarded the ship. He didn't see a reason really. In his mind action spoke louder than words. Eventually he entered into the crowded room. His visor shinning with each light passing above his head. It didn't take long for him to notice a few of the others sitting behind one table. They stood out. All Spartans did. As he approached the table he examined them both for a brief moment. The word Hellfire carved onto his chest piece. Than with a calm gesture he have a quick salute and speaks in a collective manner :" Kanen-147 reporting. "

Kenric had entered the ship earlier than most. Probably because he had nothing else better to do. His things were pretty much always packed up. Being a soldier meant that you had to be prepared to leave at a moments notice. As he wandered threw the hallway his mind drifted back to the events of the past. The war was tough on all the soldiers. But Kenric had to embrace the full horror of it all. Being sent to the so called red zones. He was an ODST soldier. They were the dogs of the military. They were feared and even viewed as scum by other lower ranking soldier. Hell jumpers. Thats what they used to call them. The ODST recruits were mostly made up of orphans,former criminals and elite mercenaries. That way if they died they wouldn't be missed. They were all taken in at a fairly young age. The younger they were the faster they learned. And if they didn't...well the military could always use cannon fodder . They were all pretty much expendable. If you were lucky and managed to survive your first five missions then you were sent to Gen. corp. A formally respected pharmaceutical company . That was until the military took over. Later all their funds were aimed towards military use. They started to develop drugs that would " help " the everyday soldier on the field.

Project MANA was one such drug. The first ever blood substitute. Kenric was one out of handpicked 20 elite soldiers to try out its effects. In the end only 3 survived. It helped substantially. That is once you made it past the first 3 weeks. It was horrible. The hallucinations, the burning sensation the sleepless nights...the screaming. But eventually he made it threw the whole ordeal and was back in the battlefield stronger than ever. China. That was his last destination on Earth. His steps grew slower and slower as the images flew threw his mind. Bombers flying overhead dropping hellfire missiles onto underground bunkers. Turrets firring at anything that moved. The sound of wailing and anguish filling the air with a sinister echo. And the blood. Suddenly his thought were interrupted when a few of the crew on board spoke threw the intercom. Most of the things he heard didn't concern him. That was until he heard that his presence was needed on the machinery deck. So it was time to meet up with the rest of the squad.

After a while he reached a large white door that was the main entrance to the machinery deck. As soon as he was close enough the door lifted up and Kenric entered. He walked deeper into the room almost cautiously listening to all the little noises that the many contraptions were emitting :" So this is where we are supposed to meet. Guess I'm early..." He thinks to himself not spotting anyone else in the room. As he looked up into the corner of the room he noticed a small camera hanging from the wall. A security precaution. He gazed into the small red light next to the cameras lens . Suddenly he could feel his body going numb . Everything seemed to slow down as the sound of his heart beat grew louder and louder :" Lieutenant! Lieutenant ! We need to go now ! Enemy ships are inbound ! Lieutenant ! " Snapping back to reality he leaned his hand against the wall and took a deep breath. His hands were shaking and a cold sweat was running down his forehead. Even in space the memories followed him. It was the drug. An unfortunate side effect. Or so the scientists concluded. Taking a small white box from his pocket he slipped a pill into his mouth and swallowed it. He than leaned his back against the wall and waited for his other squad mates as the medication slowly did its work. Hopefully.
