A small tournament utilizing Duelist Network.

And is there a prize too?
Yes.

1st Place: March 2012 Sealed Monthly Collectible Letter & 300,000 G.
2nd Place: Love Charm III & 200,000 G.
3rd place: Golden Magical Giftbox & 100,000 G.

Ohshitnigga. Wait, what's the catch?
Only non-effect monsters can be used. Not just normal monsters, but any Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz monster can be used too. As long as it has no effects.

Any special banned/restricted list?
Oh yes. But only minor. Non-Spellcasting Area is Semi-Limited.

So when and how does all this throw down?
Registration begins now. You may send an image of your deck from DN to me or a type-up. Deadline to do so is Friday, March 9th. There is no registration fee. Simply post in this thread that you would like to participate, or PM me.

Pairings will be listed and the tournament itself begins Saturday, March 10th. To accommodate everyone equally and generously, you will all have an entire week to complete your matches (best 2 of 3 duels). Upon match completion, both participants must PM me with the results, to avoid misunderstandings that could inhibit things.

To provide a quick and painless progression, it will be single-elimination. The rosters will progress as players finish their matches.

Edit: So basically no effect monsters, and that card is the only card ban/limited? Or is that card added to the ban list for this tournament? Just making sure before I throw a deck together. ^^

I'm in, though my deck will be rough and I won't be able to play until Sunday (I have a regional on Saturday thus I won't be able to playtest my nilla deck nor will I be able to play at all on Saturday). I'll send my deck on Friday.
