I remember when I was a kid , I kept hearing a buzzing noise in my ear one day and ofc my mom
didn't believe me/didn't care, so I went to lay down in the car and a wasp or something crawled out
idk how it got in there

But in areas without fake light they are good navigators, and their ability to detect chemicals and pheremones is amazing.

not when sleeping but one time, i was drinking from a soda can. i left it on the bench then played a game of sports. went back and chugged it all. i tilted it into my mouth so i could get the last drop.

i felt something very hairy fuzzy go on my tongue. i spit it out.....

it was a big fat dead bumble bee emotion_puke
and to think that i drank the entire can with it lying inside... emotion_facepalm

yeah i understand i know people who do. i never used to think insects were scary/nasty-looking until i looked at one under the microscope... saw the fangs and everything up close. noooppee not for me lol xd

Eh once swallowed it all looks the same in your gut.

I didnt do any entomology courses specifically in my bio degree, but did plenty of bug stuff relating to other fields like ecology.

Just like a**s juice is a delicious way to get some natural sugar boost when hiking.

Of course people prefer to think of it as "honey dew" and not a**s juice. But I mean its no different than honey vs bee vomit.

Based on me being awake less than a hour earlier, and this moth not putting up a fight to get out hense waking me. I kinda assume it was at the end of its life anyway just looking for a nice warm hole to die in.
