I picked Leafkit! He's out of stamina already. sad Any idea how to refill without waiting? I can't get the "How to Play" to open and when I click on "Shop", the store it takes me to doesn't have any pet related items.

You can either get Stamina potions (these are occasional drops you get after winning battles). We'll probably be able to buy them if Gaia adds them to the shop.

If you don't have any potions, go home, select kins and then make your pet sleep. The stamina will replenish, but you do have to wait for a little bit.

Thanks! That's very helpful. I did get one stamina potion to drop, but I don't want to waste it since it restores 100 stamina and my Leafkit only has 10 stamina for now. So looks like I'll have to wait about 20 minutes before he levels up for the first time. This event is exciting though!
