I have a question. My sister is a vegan and she goes on these 'vegan forums' and they shame her for sometimes eating dairy products when she's at someone else's home and they've made food.

She wants to know if that's normal for vegans sometimes or if that means she's a really bad vegan.

Well if you eat dairy products, you're not vegan.
That's simple as that.

I don't judge her or anyone for that matter.
If she decided to eat dairy at her families place, thats her choice.
Nothing worse than "holier than thou" moralist vegans.
But yhea, vegan means, rejection of consumption of animal products, food and otherwise.

So you literally only eat cow, chicken and pig meat, nothing else.
I'm surprised you haven't died already of scurvy...or well, thousands of other different diseases.
