Just watched a few episodes of Inuyasha. I did check about the end (I can't remember if it was the anime or the manga.. or maybe both?). Without spoilering it for others... it was pretty much a facepalming end in my opinion XD

XD yea I think the ending is the same in the anime and manga. Well I can't remember where it ended in Inuyasha but the final season Inuyasha: The Final Act, I'm pretty sure it ends the same way as the manga.

Immortal Rain=
there's a bounty-hunter, who's after the one and only immortal person, that bounty-hunter dies,
and his daughter takes up the hunt, able to find the target since the immortal (Rain) is known to play his violin so bad the heaven start to cry .w.
as things progress, it's revealed that Rain can't come with the little bounty hunter until he has found a specific person, and thus they end up as a sort-of team, where the young bounty-hunter protects her investment and her investment sort of protects her in the progress .w.
it's kinda fun too since he's-.... i think he was about 600 years older than her -w-'

i didn't think much of it first, but then i saw this image and was instantly in love _XD

it's 11 volumes long .3.'

i'd say the, at least tokyopop release, are about as thick as most other manga out there .w.'

Hmm I guess it's not that short, XD I guess compared to some of the manga I'm reading at the moment that are in the 100+ it's kinda short.
Then again those, the chapters only have like 14-20 pages.
