I don't think is really creepy ... but I like Blood+ biggrin
Its more like bloody but not all the time .

Hey im looking for the best horror animes! actually scary!
I've never watch a horror anime before, first time watching anime of this genre!

HEY I was going to make a horror suggestion thread but you got here first sad Ah well. Tell me which ones you actually liked, I'm looking for a good horror one as well. The only one I've seen is Death Note... which isn't even a horror, but it's pretty good all the same.

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, Higurashi Kai, Hellsing, Elfen Lied, Mirai Nikki (They're dubbing it currently if you want to watch it in dub instead of subbed.) and Shiki.

this thread helped me a lot, too. i have one you may want to check out that i didn't see listed here yet called Le Portrait de Petit Cossette. It's an OVA and it's kinda a trip. I enjoyed it a lot.

"Fish" by Ito Junji, this is a pretty decent horror anime although it's one of his lousiest works.

Thanks for these suggestions! I'm taking a look as well..

Also, I second Ghost Hound and Mononoke. These are actually freaky and can be considered definitely horror. A lot of the other anime/manga recommended so far have been more action, but Ghost Hound especially centers on the horror genre aspect.
