Are there different categories of "furry"?
This interests me.

A furry is an anthropomorphic animal. Anthropomorphic means said animal acts like a human, given such traits as bipedal, speaking a human language, et cetra.
There are, if I'm reading your question right, different categories for fursonas. A fursona is basically the animal you would be if you were an animal, for example, I took a number of fursona quizzes to find that the most common animal for me was a wolf.

sometime's there's some fursonas I see that are really awesome
and I like to sketch anthro stuff very rarely
and I like some fur hentai kinda stuff
but I don't think I could ever be all that invested in it

3nodding I know right. I heard some rumors that somewhere in Germany some dude is researching how to give humans functional animal parts; it would be like plastic surgery to add them on 3nodding
