...you've seen in a comic (preferably a webcomic so I can see it), and was actually executed in a decent manner?

There are lot of absurdist comics out there with great execution... Amazing Screw-On Head, Grant Morrison's run on Doom Patrol, Shaolin Cowboy, Madman (which was lifted wholesale, neutered, defanged, and plagiarized into Freakazoid)... but I actually have a hard time thinking up comics with concepts that initially repelled me that I later ended up liking.

The best example I can think of is a prose novel series.

If someone had tried to sell A Song of Ice and Fire to me by running through the plot points before I read a single page, I would have never picked it up.

I mean, an exiled purple-eyed, white-haired princess with three pet dragons gathering a great army to save her homeland from evil elves and giants? It sounds like the worst horse s**t ever. But it's literally the best fantasy series I've ever read.

That was right at the end of the first book, so yeah, you missed a lot of good stuff. If you stop reading Ice and Fire before Brienne shows up then you've done it all wrong.

This isn't a webcomic, but it's the only thing I could think of at the moment:
A psychic, dimensional traveler, chupacabra, big foot, and moth man team up to fight supernatural and paranormal entities from alternate dimensions!

...It's better than it sounds.

Yours. No, really. A catgirl goes to a magical elf doctor? There's some four eyed man with a sister with psychic and magical powers? Twin brothers with matching names and opposite personalities? What is this? I don't even know... I'm going to stop reading now... No, wait! This is good! HOMG! This is good! When I saw it on deviantArt, I decided to give it a chance, because the art looked good. I'm really glad I did.

Dr. McNinja is a comedy, so that probably helps it handle its ridiculous concept a bit more than others. They're an Irish-Japanese ninja doctor, his gorilla nurse, and some manbeast child. They fight crime. Or heal people. Or something like that.

Digger. Actually, the concept is normal. A wombat just wants to go home. However, the stuff that happens along the way is pretty WTF-ish. Vampire fruit? Stuff becoming real if you believe in the worst possible way? People who become half-beasts, because they took herbal Viagra knock offs? Oracular snails? ...what?

You know, I found a few now that I took the time to look through my bookmarks:

-A perky demon girl with a demonic chihuahua(named Cerberus Maximus) that she carries around with her becomes BFFs with tomboy angel. Also a super hero. She likes pink things and unicorns.

-Cat-girl demon is shrunk down to a few inches tall. Her companion is a demon wizard guy. The inhabitants who aren't demons refer to themselves as 'human' despite having giant elf ears.

-Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name. That is all.

Anthropomorphic cats run a bootlegging franchise during the Roaring Twenties, set fire to houses, and handle guns in an unsafe manner.

A girl who spends her high school career being shy and on the outside looking in starts having elaborate dreams about taking part in the American Revolution.

So a catgirl with a deadly disease goes to her elf-doctor for treatments while crazy elves run around making people (and cats) asplode and are hunted down by some blonde guy who enjoys jumping through windows and getting hit with knives.

A teenage jackass runs around post-WWII Japan getting into trouble until an old man convinces him to take up boxing as a means of proving he's worth a damn.

A motorcycle gang beats the living s**t out of other people who ride motorcycles until one of their buddies is kidnapped by the military and turned into a raging lunatic with psychic powers. Meanwhile, an anti-government group is trying to expose the psychic program.

The Fancy Adventures of Jack Cannon -- A previously home schooled kid (pfftTTT yeah home schooled by NINJAS) arrives at a new school only to find out it's been taken over by oh god no hackers! So he fixes it with violence.
also there is friendship.

Sticking solely to webcomics:

A guy with a TV for a head who needs to help a small, limb-less blobby thing trek across both sides of a world in order to do something not easily put into words.

A bunch of guys standing around making jokes about fellatio, with art taken from MS Chat.

Two unidentifiable things that are mirror images of each other do silly things and die a lot, drawn on what appears to be post-it notes.

The same pieces of dinosaur clip-art talk to each other every day.

A cross between a bear and a potato has a bird who's kind of a jerk as his best friend.

Let's not forget that when they say 'hack' they apparently mean 'hack into reality.' Which just sounds CrAzY.

Oh god I love these books!! It does get really sad in the third book (that's as far as I've gotten) when main charecters start dying. Walder Frey deserves to die!!T^T

I didn't expect my comic to pop up here. XD; I didn't think it was that 'ridiculous' or 'absurd'... just a little unusual... but now that you guys put it that way, I guess it kind of is!
