This is for those who are either new to the GD or wish to post something retarted like 'Who likes naruto?!!11!one'. Or both, whichever comes first. For people who have been loyal to the GD and had not littered it with junk threads, read this if you like, or just leave. I want all the nooblings to read this.
Listen, I know that maybe you have been talking in the ChatterBox (CB as its abbreviated by GD regulars) and you've been used to the fact that it's a free-for-fall. Lookie here, missy/mister.

The General Discussion is for things like real-life situations said by people seeking advice, curious questions needing/wanting to be answered, and light debate for light things.
If you want to talk about InuYasha or Naruto or that kind 'o s**t, go to the Anime Forums. It's in the Entertainment section of the Main Forum.
If you want to cyber, please, oh PLEASE, go to PMs. No, wait. In fact, don't cyber at all. It's disgusting. Threads asking for 'blow jobs' or the like are just as disgusting and are against the Gaia ToS. Try reading it sometime, eh?
Get to know Gaia's forums a little better. Check out all the good threads of each forum, and if you want to post something, post whatever matches the forum.
And don't post something people have already heard, like God isn't real and such. If you have a situation that is similar to someone else's, then post what happened with specific detail. No two Gaians' situations are *exactly* alike.
Also, beware of flamers. Not like the ones in the ChatterBox. These flamers are like guardians, and will use sarcasm and wit to throw you out of the GD. They only do this because you acted like a sorry loserface and should be ashamed of yourself. But at the same time, learn from what they said and from your mistake.
If you're new to the GD, for the love of God, DO NOT post that you're new to the GD in the actual forum. Ask a Gaian friend that knows his/her way around the GD to show you how it works and some threads they might've made that didn't get serious flaming.
And one more thing: don't post pornographic pictures on Gaia (or in the anime fans' case, hentai) as this will get you reported and you will be banned. There are kiddies on this site, and some people are easily scarred. So be reasonable.
Long story short, the GD is for people who have had or have developed common sense and are literate or can keep up a conversation without asking something noobish completely out of the blue. Now that you know, happy posting and Happy Holidays.
