Hello, Gent. I am not lurking in the rafters - I prefer to do my lurking in the pile of pillows behind the couch, much more comfortable, thankyouverymuch - but may I have a biscuit nevertheless? emotion_kirakira

Greetings, Princess, and I hope you feel better soon. 3nodding
Yes, I have wished that, many times. I think I am even sure of when I would rewind to.

Hello, Maria. *hands cup of tea*

Oh, and a friend sent me this: (Sadly, I do not know the original source.)
Quote:
It was a thermos. With religious reverence he screwed open the lid and took a deep breath. It was full of tea. The very finest tea. Suddenly, all was right with the world. Every problem, soluble. Every difficulty, surmountable. There was tea, and tea was the solution to all problems. Or rather, had the amazing ability to replace all problems with a more fundamental one, viz. why wasn't there any more tea?

That's exciting, Maria! Where are you going?

Hi there, Sun. (or are you Eagle or would you prefer me to call you Suneagle sweatdrop I'm bad with names, evidently.)

Ah, so I'm not the only one feeling that sometimes.
I try to believe that things do get better though.

So how was your day?

Timid Bibliophile

I'm very glad to hear that, Steph! I've been here since the end of August, I'm not sure if that should be considered a long time.

Sun, -politely declines tea- I would, but I don't care for tea. sweatdrop Thank you, though.

Hemel, Just a state up, but we'll be there for the whole weekend. c:

Hi, Maria! I forgot to tell you that I like your fuzzy slippers. wink Where are you off to for the weekend? And you don't like tea?! surprised Not even of any kind?

I'm glad you are feeling better, Steph. heart

Sun, I adore that quote! It has a hint of Pratchett about it, though I could be wrong. And certainly you may have a biscuit. There are always plenty to go around. heart

Maria: I don't know how far that state is, but I think that if I were to travel that distance in any given direction I would end up either on a sea or in another country. The hugeness of the US remains a mind-boggling business to me.

I like tea. 3nodding

Hemel - that is pretty long, as compared to when I started lurking around.

Where are all of you from?

Hemel, It's about 3 hours drive, 177 mi/ 285km.

Gent, I know. Thank you for them. Such a cute prize.
And yes, don't like it, can't drink it, boyfriend is a manager at a tea shop. See the humor? lol
But yes, don't care for the taste and the caffeine makes me incredibly ill.

Timid Bibliophile

Maria: Then I would end up outside the borders. 3nodding
