Roads and Path's are so expensive

I've got nearly 10 people in town and they're crammed into a mighty small space.
I just wish roads/paths were a bit cheaper yeah? I find them far too expensive ; 3;

idk why so expensive, its weird. One of the only games playing where something so small is so much money.

I think the price of them is a bit ridiculous.
Even 500 would be cheaper and easier on the wallet.

I just don't understand why it's 1,500 for one pathway.
At least if it was 500 per pathway, you could get three for that price.
More bang for your buck.
