was the church a participant prize, or did you have to actually place to get it? because, i'm totally kicking myself in the shins right now if it was a prize for participation. .-.

i need to expand sometime soon. crying my place is so cramped for what i want to do with it!!

No, it was actually a 1st place prize whee There were no participation prizes, though I think there should have been, since there was a 10,000 gold fee to enter.

I'd say it's worth to save gold to expand, at least if you're like me, and like to have room for many factories and for decorations =p But a lot of people manage by just having a lot of factories and basically only tulips/cosmos as decorations.
