Ick. I am so not a rainbow person. Where did that myth even come from? It's certainly not in any of the Irish tales I've read.

I don't know how legit it is, but you're suppose to be able to find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow...because that's where leprechauns hide them...or something.

Nuh-uh. In all the stories I've read on Leprechauns, they hide their gold in mountains, woods, caves, rocks, and raths, etc.. Not rainbows.

lol, Commercialization and Lucky Charms changed the fable (apparently, I don't go out of my way to read things about little green creatures) to sell crap. I'm just saying, it's what society accepts because some marketing person decided to make it so. All holidays are twisted for consumerism.

I doubt there are historical stories that prove elves bake cookies in a tree either, but some company branded it and made commercials so people think they do.
