Breaking in skates is the worst.

I just got a new pair of Bauer 1.4's (I'm just getting into hockey, but I've been skating all my life)
and holy s**t man
These aren't bakeable either, so I'm stuck busting them in from stratch.
Feels like my feet are cased in light cement, lol.
Can't wait to get on the ice tomorrow though.

Any tips on breaking in skates quickly?

You should try a sledgehammer. I've broken in lots of things with mine.
