some item game WIP idea come suggest what you'd like!

I think it would be fun to have a chance game like daily chance to get evolving items.. sure it may muck up the MP but it can have odds to make it fair but also fun to play maybe a crane game or a wheel to spin? or a game you play and if you can keep up the levels you get more EIs? I figured it'd be fun to suggest... given it seems unfair our some EIs are priced, even if the gamed used chance items it'd be fun, I mean the MP has become unfair with some item prices lately for some items, not everyone has money to run out and get Gaia cash cards or such.

Also I know people will say "use cash offers" it's still unfair, given many of the offers are virus risks... but like I said it is just a suggestion for a game to have CI's as prizes for how well you do or for chance winning, or even EIs. either or.

EDIT: I believe even if EI's or Chance items are so big to gaia's economy this idea could be tweaked to work with other items, maybe fish or something, I just think it'd be fun better in some cases but it depends on what items one interprets. oh well.

EDIT AGAIN: I have changed thet title because I'm already annoyed, yes this is my opinion I'm not the only one finding the chances unfair. the game could have fish or aquaruim items! it's no a free for all what it could have. don't focus on just the EI's now maybe something good and reasonable will come about. and please keep the tones calm. it's a suggestion nothing more.

Final edit (I hope): alright I'm gonna screw around with this idea, cuz I can, and see if I can work out something good and solid, so ignore my craziness before and possibly help suggest something fun to make a playable game on gaia that won't lag some like towns or zOMG may, don't be shy go ahead and suggest something! it'd help add to the idea!

Another edit: I still like the EI game idea I had, maybe some sort of chance to get old out of the flow of the MP items would be nice, since they aren't coming back it'd be a good way to bring them back for newer gaian's who want the item. be it like DC or something you have to buy an item for, like a key or some little token for a crane game. it'd be a wonderful idea, gaia would still get money and people would get their items with the chance of what they get there! (finally this idea is coming togwether a bit better if anyone wishes to improve or keep suggesting feel free to! I'm open to improvement here.)

this is true, but still maybe with some form of items, maybe alchemy ingredients it'd be more fair? given so far they force things into a huge gold sink and half the time it fails it seems unfair for all the hard work hunting down items it was merely a suggestion but it could work with any kind of items really.

What you're asking for now sounds exactly like the daily chance, which already offers items, gold, fish, and other aquarium accessories.

I'm not remotely upset. I honestly cannot figure out why people always assume that if someone strongly disagrees with them, it means they're raging. That's a little silly don't you think? I think your idea is silly. I'm not attacking you. Try to be less sensitive. =) Just because it was only a suggestion doesn't mean somehow you're immune to people telling you it's a bad suggestion. And if you want a chance game that just gives away any old item--we already have that. It's called Daily Chance. Also the random gift boxes. There's also some kind of daily grant of random items/gold in zOMG if I recall.

I am thinking positively but I still don't like your suggestion and don't see a need for it. If you're going to post in SF, you really are going to have to get used to the idea that people are going to disagree with you--vehemently sometimes--and you can't get up in arms about it. yes, but daily chance only comes once a day, I'd moreso say there should be an easy to run game that can be played during the day without a one shot, or more chances. even if it's a paper or flower game, given towns can be hard to run for some, and zomg also, and I merely misinterpreted the tone of the post I meant no disrespect, I've just dealt with many jumping on a post for different opinion and I still have the habit of misinterpeting it, but I'm still working on the idea so it's merely a work in progress.

if you wish to help give more flesh to the idea I'd greatly appreciate it, even if it's a bit hard to stand I'd rather have a new game to play without going off gaia like the recent facebook games and such. and thats easier to run than ZOMG and such. it's only a hope that this can bring about one somehow though. I guess I hsoulda put that in the original post... eeeh I shoulda wrote this out on paper XD

Have you tried Dumpster Diving? It also gives random items and I believe you can do it many times a day (I'm unsure what the wait time is between dives). From what I recall, it gives away a lot of trash/bugs/etc. But if you're lucky you may also get an item worth some gold as there are people who donate costly items. I donated one worth 60k just yesterday...so they are in there.

yes I've tried it but sometimes it's hard to get items due to the que for it or the random coding of it saying crazy pete is a bit crazy looking.... still I may change this idea completely from a item game, but I'm still working on it... maybe a way to change item colors in a game... eh that I'll keep in mind. but again it's a mere work in progress... so far I think it'd be fun to have a working easy game with a bit of a chance to play it with less hassle.

The current daily chance already gives away fish.. and it gives out 10,000g fairly often (I've gotten it several times myself). And, unless they've changed it, there's even the incredibly rare chance of getting a million gold. So I don't see why we would need anything "like the daily chance but different"

At least this way more will come into the MP without destroying their prices.
