Story
It has been a few hundred years since The Hero of Time defeated the evil that lived within Majora's mask. The Hero of Time is no longer alive but his stories have been passed down through generations as legends. In the land of Hyrule it is told how he traveled through time to awaken the six sages and seal away Ganondorf. In the land of Termina it is told how he relived the same three days to save the four giants and defeat the evil in the mask to stop the destruction of Termina. Both Hyrule and Termina have lived in peace for hundreds of years since then. But peace never lasts forever.

The evil that once lived inside Majora's mask has now returned to the mask and the mask has found a new host. Majora, determined to not make the same mistakes as last time, has put a new strategy into motion. Majora has learned of the land of Hyrule and the triforce that it holds. Knowing that no one would be able to stop him if he held the triforce in his hands, he has joined the two worlds together. Imprisoning the four giants and the six sages, both Hyrule and Termina have been overrun my monsters and a cloud of evil. It is now up to you to travel back and forth between Hyrule and Termina to return peace to both lands. Will you help Majora attain the triforce or will you stop Majora once and for all? The choice is up to you.

Setting
The setting of this RP uses the maps from the games The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. The link between Hyrule and Termina is in the Lost Woods. This RP takes place a few hundred years after these games so Link and Zelda from the games are no longer alive. There is still a Royal Family of Hyrule so I will allow someone to play Princess Zelda (The role of Princess Zelda has been taken) but it will be a different princess Zelda than the one in the games. There is no Link.

Bio: Growing up Melanie loved hearing the legend of a boy who traveled through time to save Hyrule. She always wanted to meet The Hero of Time, although that was impossible as he was no longer alive. She wondered what other stories there might be about the Hero of Time but his adventures in Termina were only told in Termina. Still she wondered what else there might be. She tried to go to the places he went and would do her best to re-enact what she knew from the stories. She even tried to sneak past the castle guards on multiple occasions, which wasn't very hard to do. Recently, however, she's been afraid to go too far from her home as more and more monsters have begun appearing across Hyrule. She hoped that The Hero of Time would appear again but overtime she began to think that she might have to take it upon herself and do what she can to save Hyrule. She's just not sure what she can do.

Bio: Though still considered rather young, Alex has already witnessed and lived through a great deal of incredible events. For at least half of his life he has served in the royal guard, specifically as Princess Zelda's personal bodyguard. Fate had greater plans for him however and he found himself part of a ragtag group of warriors that eventually quelled the return of the Dark King, bringing peace back to Hyrule, if only for a short time.
Since then, Alex has returned to guarding the Princess, but with her sleep constantly barraged with nightmares that she can only presume to be a prophecy, how long will it be before he must bare arms in the name of Hyrule once more?
Weapons: Longsword and Lightning Magic.

Other: Alex has actually died before, but was revived with a fairy. A gruesome scar along his stomach is a bitter reminder of this.
The adventure he undertook years earlier will still be fresh in peoples minds, it wouldn't be unheard of for people to have heard of "Lightning Alexandros."
Alex has several years of training and experience under his belt. Though definitely not invincible, he would make a fearsome opponent.

Bio: Thieves, Cheats, Swindlers, the unlikely roguish duo had been called it all on their travels through Hyrule.
Leo was born in the alleys of Castle Town, he lived a rough life, being passed along crooks and gangs, just trying to keep food in his mouth, this gave him many chances to hone his skills as thief, and a conman, preferring to use charm and whit to win over his victims rupees. He was never one to shy away from a challenge or a gamble, nor a pretty face. His need to woo every girl he's ever met has been his downfall on more then one occasion.
Narvia was born far far from any city or town, living in the forests alone, preferring solitude over the company of others through most of her early life. She was often cruel and rude to her fellow fairies, nor was she very keen on any Kokiri, avoiding ending up being any of their companions through her cold demeanor.
The young pixie had never even seen Hylian until the day she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Grabbed by a bug net, and tossed into a cage. She beat on the bars for what felt like days until she saw light again, it was a cramped alleyway, full of stolen goods and rough looking men playing dice. She wanted to burst out into screams at the men, demanding her freedom, but before she could, a voice broke through the commotion.
"And how much for the Fairy?"
"She aint for sale, runt."
"Ohoh, my friend..." The roguish Hylian from his pack pulled a large burlap sack, looking to burst from its own weight, and dropped it onto the table "Everything is for sale"
Narvia's captor seemed unimpressed by the mans 'offer' only gritting his teeth at the boy.
"Tell you what, my friend... We play a game, like gentleman, dice are thrown, and either you walk away with my money, or I take your fairy. Seems fair, yes?"
The large brute spit in at the rogues boots. "Fine, boy.... We'll play your game"
Narvia wasn't sure how the game worked, but the look on her captors face said it all as the dice were thrown onto the table. It was the look of shock and defeat.
"So sorry..." The Rogue said with a sly smirk opening Narvia's cage "...you'll get me next time, aye?" He held out a hand for the girl to step out onto. "There... Now you don't need to be anyone's prisoner."
The fairy couldn't believe the mans generosity, and shyly smiled as she took flight
"Th-thank you..."
Leo smiled back to her, but their moment was quickly shattered by a cry of anger
"OI, THESE DICE ARE LOADED!"

and ever since that day, the unlikely duo have been on the run together, always leaving trouble in their wake

Weapons: Leo wields his trusty cutlass he calls 'Natasha' while Narvia is skilled in simple healing magic, but isn't strong enough to heal major wounds quickly, nor can she bring back the fallen

Bio: Through every reincarnation that has ever followed, from even the beginning with Hylia and so on, the fight to save Hyrule in its many forms has never ceased. The endless cycle was made to repeat over and over until fate would reach this Zelda in perhaps the most challenging threat of all. The evil banished by the Hero of Time snaked its way into the very heart of Hyrule, cursing it once again with the destruction of the peace and serenity that a century brought. Before then, Hyrule was a booming country with trade to Termina and other places, making it sort of a golden age.

For the princess, it was a glorious time for her and the royal family. Born and raised as the crowned princess, Zelda was educated with all the proper trappings and tutors money could buy. Her nurse, Impa, was always at her side along with her knight, Alexandros, protecting, guiding and educating her for the future that lay ahead of the royal Hylian. As she grew older, she began to introduce her influence over the people with wise and solemn judgement, while earning their love for being fair and kind as a typical crowned princess was supposed to be. Also, in time, came her most important role: the introduction of guarding the Triforce of Wisdom, that she had come to possess and its powers: magic, dreams of the future, and wisdom beyond her years.

However, the lacking of the newest incarnation of the Hero of time worried the royals, including Zelda. Peace never lasted for long and often times she would have nightmares of evil seizing the very land she loved and served but this time with no hero to defend it. The closest matching this description was her personal guard, Alexandros. However, her fear plagued her as she sent him on relentless missions to find the much needed Hero of Time before it was too late. However, the nightmares become more and more prevalent, showing her that there was no fabled Hero this go around.

Instead, it showed her the shadowed figures of some new heroes who were in each a descendant and incarnation of the Hero of Time. By then, as it would seem, that the darkness already gripped Hyrule and turned its city against the royal family. The Triforce of Wisdom, in attempt to protect itself and conceal its power from Majora for the time being, repressed the Princess's memories completely leaving her only with one clue: save Hyrule and restore the balance. After doing so, it sealed itself away within the girl undetectable and leaving Zelda with only a fraction of its power to use at her own will. With that, she was left to think she was just another girl from the royal city who's life was ruined. The only person she remembers is her guard, but only that he knows what is going on. And thus, begins her story.

Other: This Zelda is a bit more rash, blunt, and tomboyish. Also, if you haven't picked up from her bio, she has no memories and I am assuming with most medieval type fantasy, many young girls were named for the ruling family's children. So to anyone, for now, she's just another girl with the princess's namesake. That also means anyone who knows her was given a dream not to reveal her identity to her for the sake of protecting the Triforce of Wisdom.

Bio: Minuet as his sister Aria originally grew up in Hyrule as Kokiri in the Kokiri Forest and thus had fairies of their own, Chronos being Minuet's. From a young age the two were both musically inclined. And as such became quite taken by music. As a git to one another and in hopes of being able to play together also they carved musical instruments for one another. Aria gave Minuet his Panpipes while he gave his younger sister a Flute. The two would often play upon their instruments within the town or even slightly into the Lost Woods.

Despite the Warning from other Kokiri about venturing into the woods, Minuet and Aria would play Hide and Seek within the forest not taking to heart he warnings of becoming Skull Children. For the two had become so familiar with the area that they feared not of becoming lost. However, one day the worst occurred. While trying to surprise her brother Aria departed into the Lost Woods, for which she never returned. Minuet after learning from a fellow Kokiri that his sister had gone into the woods and not returned went after her despite their warnings that he would most likely never be able to locate her again.

Not giving up hope that he might be able to find his sister and rescue her, Minuet went into the forest with Minuet. As he wondered through he became hopelessly lost and eventually transformed into Skull Child. After walking for what seemed like forward, Minuet emerged in his changed form in the unfamiliar land of Termina. A land he hopes will lead him to his sister.

Other: Although Minuet does like to play pranks as well as games... His more mischievous personality is mostly due to the fact that he covers up the pain he feels for losing his sister and attempts to take his mind off things with games and acting childish--unable to face the reality that she might actually be dead.

Bio: Dominic was one of the members of Alexandros' group that saved Hyrule from darkness two years ago. After the adventure concluded, Dominic returned to his home village, Kokiri Village, for a much belated reunion. He stayed there for a year, relaying the tales of the journey he had been through, while settling into a normal life once more. One day, a mysterious Salesman came to the village, claiming to sell masks. The seemingly friendly Salesman gave off a disturbing aura, but the innocent Kokiri gave it no thought and Dominic was naive himself. Upon leaving, the happy Mask Salesman accidentally left a mask behind. Dominic, being the kind individual he was, put it upon himself to return the lost merchandise. But after a couple of days of searching, he was unable to locate the Salesman.

One night as he camped out in the wilderness, Dominic looked over the mask thoroughly. He hadn't given the item much thought and curiosity had completely overtaken him. He found the mask hypnotic, an impulse made him put the mask on. And that was all the deity trapped within needed. It only took a moment for Majora to take over Dominic's mind, turning him into his new host.
Finally with a new body, Majora wasted no time and set out immediately to cause mayhem, determined to locate to sacred Tri-Force that he had heard so much about over the years.
Weapons: Bow and various types of arrows, mostly elemental. Majora's magic.
Do you work for Majora: I am Majora! Heeheehee...
Other: Majora loves to cause mischief and mayhem so much that he can get sidetracked from his main goal of locating the Tri-Force quite easily.
Majora has no access to Dominic's memories, and Dominic's personality does not effect Majora at all. They are completely separate entities.
Majora can have Dominic remove the mask for a small amount of time without losing control of his host. A vast amount of time with the mask off would be required for Majora's hold on the Hylian to be broken, though Majora would stop at nothing to put the mask back on and remain in control of his puppet.

Bio: Kairu is a Deku Scrub that has seen a lot of combat in his time, he was raised within the Lost woods in which his village and tribe was caught in a never-ending war against the Mad Scrubs. One year ago Kairu found himself in an adventure that prevented the Dark Kings resurrection and even brought peace between the Deku and Mad Scrubs. However those adventures did not come with consequences. Now Kairu is following his dream and traveling around the world with several companions from that adventure, he was offered a job serving Hyrule but turned it down as he has no interest serving anyone.
Weapons: A vast range of different types of Deku Nuts, his Petalblade, Water and Wind powers gifted by two great fairies.

Other: In Hyrule, Kairu would be considered famous amongst the people due to his previous adventure, due to his 'act now think later' way of life Kairu unintentionally became one of Hyrule's 'most wanted criminals.' With that adventure behind him people now look up to him as one of Hyrule's guardians.
Kairu has five Wolfo companions, two which he raised from childhood (AKA two he beat up and gained the respect of in combat) and another three from the events of three years ago where a friend of his sacrificed himself so Kairu may live on.
Kairu will never kill his opponent unless he really see's a need too. This is due to his own anxieties and upbringing.
Appearance: Kairu has what appears to be a hair style made from large green leaves planted across his head, some leaves part across his forehead like a fringe whilst others are bent out of place in a similar style to bedhead.
He wears a purple and white striped scarf given to him by his father, due to the combat it has seen the scarf is quite beaten up now, but either way Kairu is always with his scarf, easily his most iconic piece of clothing.
Kairu's torso is covered in leaves, but over them he wears a black leather jacket found during his adventure around the world in the past year, on his back Kairu's blade and Deku Petals (Used for gliding) are attached. He has a belt made of flowers, attached to his left leg is several pouches used to carry small items.

In the barracks of Termina, story's echo of the nightmarish monsters that live in the Ikana valley and hills, and none is told with more fear in their throats then the story of 'The Tower'. Said to once be a brutal general of a long forgotten kingdom, serving under Igos Du Ikana, she was a brutal and fearsome warrior who relished in ever war won for her kingdom. She stood tall, said to be over 10 feet tall, and wore armor fit for monstrous knights. Her joy was war, and she knew nothing else, demanding more and more of Termina be taken into their empire, simply so she could bring more carnage on more and more battle fields. The King grew weary of her blood lust and stripped her of her position and demanded her to leave his kingdom. Needless to say, the knight was not pleased with such a notion, and attempted to kill the king right there in his own throne room. The following battle against the monstrous woman was said to go on for hours, the blood of the castle guards reaching her ankles. She finally fell after archers loaded her bodies with arrows, and she slowly bled out onto the floor, still managing to crush the throat of the archer who finished her as she fell.
And for most monsters, this would be the end of their tale, but The Tower was something... more....
As undeath spread through Ikana Canyon, it awoke many spirits and memories long forgotten by time... Including the Tower. She walked the earth again, with only one desire, to slay the strong, trample the weak, and bring war to this world.
Weapons: Her trusted Goron blade by her side 'Helbrand' forged in mount doom, and blessed with the spirits of fire, this weapon gives her dominion over flame. It is a sword so large, it would take a normal man to wield it with both hands, but she swings it with one, while still carrying a tower shield, comparable to her size in the other. This trusted shield and her stature is what earned her the title 'Tower'
Undeath has made the once hard to kill monster of a woman, even more unbreakable. Even able to increase her size to experiential heights, but doing so strains her body, and weakens her bones.

Other:Though her legend is filled with blood, her rest has left her 'slow' and when conflict is not near she seems... gentle... but only because all actions besides 'killing' come difficult to her in her new state of mind

Bio:Born the new king of the Gerudo Lucian has me train to protect and kill if necessary. From the roots of his race he knows he must lead them as well as be the best of them being the only male in the clan. At a young age Lucian was force to train hard and his life did truly depend on it for if he didn't raise the bar they would kill him before he comes of age. He now wonders hyrule looking a challenge to test his thieving skills to be a true king of thieves.

Bio: A young woman who is a mercenary for hire. She's really quite and soft-spoken, only doing what she is hired to do. She was raised as an assassin of sorts and never misses a target or so she believed until that one fateful day when she battled a mysterious mage who bested at her in combat. Aurora's been searching for him since then.

Bio: Mage travelling around from place to place searching for clues to his past. He is quite calm and levelheaded and appears to be of a quiet demeanor but when he gets angry or upset, his darker, dormant side comes out. Zero has practiced the dark arts of magic as well as the white arts as well. His specialty is summoning and controlling fire. Just as his ancestry predicts, he is quite good at stealth and can make a quick escape if need be. He lost his memory about a year ago and can't seem to remember anything before then. Because of this, he's seeking out clues to his past.

Melanie sat on her bed, looking out her bedroom window. She could easily see Hyrule Field from there. The Sun was beginning to set and she could see several monsters beginning to cover the field. It didn't take long before there seemed to be more monsters than there was field. Everyday she watched Hyrule Field become a field of monsters and everyday she hoped to see a boy clothed in green come to fight the monsters. But that boy never came. She lay down on her bed and looked over at her slingshot, deku sticks, deku nuts, and boomerang that she carried around with her. Will I really be able to anything with that? she wondered. Those are only a few of the items that the Hero of Time carried around with him. She sighed and closed her eyes to go to sleep.

A frustrated sigh left Alexandros' lips as he strolled down a street within Hyrule Castle Town, the sun setting off in the distance. Usually at this time he would be settling down to have dinner with the Royal family, a privilege that he was allowed because of his occupation, but instead he found himself walking the desolate streets. It felt bizarre how much quieter this town become once the sun set, but that was to be expected. No one stayed up all day and all night. Well, no one except him if fate decided to mess with him.

The head guard had come down with the flu. With no one else to turn to, Princess Zelda had requested that he covered the role until the man felt better. Truth be told, it was a task that he hadn't wanted to do. But the Princess had a way of getting him to do what she wanted. Damn that look she always gave him...
Instead of brooding over it, he decided it'd be best to simply concentrate on the task at hand and get it over and done with. His pace increased as he head toward the outer limits of town. He had to check on each guard checkpoint that led out of the city, to make sure that everything was fine. It would have been possible to get other guards to do this for him, especially with the reputation he had gained over the last couple of years, but he had decided it would be quicker to just do it himself. He had already covered the east and west checkpoints, so all that was left was the south. But as he approached, a bad feeling overcame him...

For one, the drawbridge was still down. Immediately the sun began to set, the guards were informed to bring the drawbridge up, so this wasn't a good sign. Second, monsters had already begun to stumble across the bridge, the reason why the bridge was always raised at sunset. Alex rushed over to the checkpoint building to check on the guards, only to find both men laying on the floor motionless. A quick check of both bodies confirmed a lack of a pulse, and a nasty cut to each man's throat. The wounds were still fresh but there was no sign of the perpetrator, which unnerved Alex a little. The killer couldn't have gotten far.
There were more important things right now than hunting the criminal down though, if the bridge remained down then the monsters could get into town. The civilians would be at risk. He could already hear gasps and screams as people still on the street had realized the growing situation.

He grabbed hold of the chain that would raise the drawbridge and begun to tug on it with all his might. Normally this would be a two man job since it'd be too heavy for one person, but Alex was no normal man. He grit his teeth and slowly but surely the bridge began to raise, any monsters currently on the bridge naturally tumbled forwards and landed within the town walls. He'd have to deal with that in a moment, right now he had to concentrate on closing the bridge so no more got inside. He just hoped no one would get hurt until he was finished...

Melanie had nearly fallen asleep when she heard a few screams. She shot up out of her bed and looked out her window. There were a few monsters wandering the town. She wasn't sure how they had gotten into town but she knew that people could be in danger. She quickly grabbed her weapons and ran out the door. She knew that she'd be putting herself in danger but she had fought the occasional monster in the past. Besides, there were guards in the town that could help as well. I may not be as brave as The Hero of Time, she thought, but I'm willing to help if people need help. She took out her slingshot so that she could shoot monsters from a distance and also had some deku nuts ready so that she could stun any monsters that got too close.

"How did it come to this..." A deep sigh escaped Leo's lungs as he looked down into the pathetic wallet in his hands "Barley enough for a glass of milk..." He let out another deep sigh as he looked upwards the best he could at his companion sitting on his head. "You know you don't need to ride me everywhere we go..."
"Aw, but my wings are so tired... When are we going to stop and eat!"
"As soon as I come up with a way to pad this bag a bit more."
The two wandered the dimming streets of Castle Town, only just arriving that evening, as they often tried to avoid staying in a place with this many guards for an extended period of time, but they didn't have much a choice tonight with the growing dangers of the fields.
"You could just walk everywhere, you know." He said poking fun at her as he exited the ally way.
"Oh, great idea Leo, and end up getting smashed into pul-" She was interrupted by a young girl armed with a sling shot ran through their path, also running the two down in her haste.
"Well she's in a hurry...." It was then they finally the shrieking cries for help from citizens near the gate.

"LEONARDO!" The fairy yelled, hopping off his head and tugging onto his ear "You can't just let that girl run towards all that danger on her own, you've got live steal! Go use it!"
"Narvia, we don't even know whats happening, it could be a raid or a-"
"No buts knife ears! Now move it!"
He sighed knowing there was no way he could argue with her, drawing his blade, and reluctantly following the girl with the sling shot.

To say all hell had broken loose was an understatement. Bells made their bellowing clangs all around the city telling others of the danger approaching. Guards, have awoken in their stupor and unready clamoured for their swords and pikes just as monsters seemed to be swarming from the nooks and crannies of the city walls. Within the walls the townsfolk suddenly realized that things were going down and unable to completely handle the chaos, the fled in all directions.

Now it just happened that a youth of nineteen had just found herself wandering the alleyways. The tolling of the bells was more than the sound of all alert. Guards began to shout and bellow orders. "The princess is gone! The princess is gone!" This frightened the girl, trembling as a guard pushed her aside. The royal princess had disappeared? Why in Hyrule would someone take their beloved princess? It just so happened that this girl was named for the princess, but this was common for people to name their children after the royals.

Amidst the chaos, Zelda tried to recall what she was doing earlier. But it came to a blank and she backed into a wall, her fingers brushing the stone. All she could remember was a flash, someone demanding that she save Hyrule and that was it. A name and a mission was all she had. Guessing this was a sign and having nothing else to go on, the girl toughened her resolve and pulled her harp out. Encroaching enemies nearby threatened a few citizens, backing them into a corner. With a few notes, her body began to glow. "Nayru's Love!" she said, invoking the goddess that came to memory.

A translucent blue crystal encased the family, repelling the attack just in time. Instead, they turned, the anger on their faces eminent. "s**t," she muttered, stowing away her harp and running the opposite direction. "Oh for the love of the Goddesses someone help!"
