Bio: BMO was created as one of the many robots in the MO series. However unlike the other MO's BMO posessed more personality and was better able to befriend people and connect with them on personal levels. He left the factory and ended up in the hands of a human.

Bio: Fionna was abandoned in the woods during infancy. She reveals that she made "boom boom" (Fionna's word for defecation) on a large leaf and fell on it. She lay there crying until Cake's parents, Joslyn and Mark, rescued her from the wilderness and brought him to their home. They raised her alongside Cake, who, along with Jeraline, became Fionna 's adopted sister.
It is revealed in "Samuel Strong," that Fionna knows nothing of her human parents or any other humans. In "Henchwoman," Fionna states that Cake told her that she originated from a cabbage as a joke. However, Fionna later learns about her biological mother, Martina, in the episode "Beth's Bucket List."
