Comments about the thread?: Very nice layout for the front page, but maybe some tutorials on make-up could be helpful, also maybe listing magazines like EGG and where to get them.

Hello! I was actually thinking about that yesterday. Where I live there are a lot of Japanese stores that carry magazines, so I've never really had to look online for them sweatdrop I'll look around and start a new link list, though!

Also, I think that if you're into sweet lolita I suggest looking more into la pafait if you haven't already. They're a little more sugary then Jesus Diamante but the lines are more , so I personally think it would be great for transition.
Oh gosh I wish I lived in a place that had Japanese magazines everywhere! Where do you live?
I've found that jbox.com (J-list) has some good magazines like EGG and KERA, and they're not too expensive. Their shipping ain't too bad neither. ^^

What's la parfait? A brand? I'm really trying to get something from Angelic Pretty or BTSSB, but I haven't had such luck yet. >.<

I live in Seattle, a lot of Japanese people move over here. There's sushi bars and teriyaki places everywhere lol.

La pafait is a slightly newer hime brand. The link should be on the first page 3nodding I think I might like it even more than Jesus Diamante.
Oh cool ^^ Is Gyaru clothing really all about brands then?

Not at all. Hime gyaru is hard to pull off without some brand clothing, but most of the other sub styles can be pulled off without brand names at all. I've been building my gyaru wardrobe through forever 21. Which is actually moderately popular in japan, apparently.
Wow, cool. ^^ I like to shop for clothes at a local consignment shop called Trader K's.

OMGosh... Jesus Diamante and La Parfait are soooo cute! I really love Hime , but I could never forget my love for Lolita either. ^^

Hime Lolita?
That doesn't really have the Gyaru factor in it though. ^^;;

o___o pix?

I wish I had some pictures of Japanese gyaru in forever 21, no one ever gets street snaps of non-brand wearing gyaru despite everyone saying they're common.

I'll take pictures of the stuff I bought if you want, lol.

How do I go about finding a Gyaru circle in my area?

I believe there is a link list on Everyday Gyaru but it's not complete. I usually just google "city or state" and then try "gyarusa" "Nago sa" or "Gal Circle" to try to find them. They are completely missing in some parts of the world, though. Plus, you have to find out which ones are still active and which ones aren't. They tend to fall apart fairly easy.

Oh I see. I'll check it out, thanks. ^^ Do you know why they fall apart like that?

Edit: I can't find the link on Everyday Gyaru >.<

Would you guys be interested in a post for asking for critique? Like where you post photos of hair, makeup, nails, or your outfit and then a link is posted on the front page where people can be directed to the post to quote on it?

I'll also prepare a post with tutorials and such.

Once you click on the links it will either say on the circle's page, or it will be in a language you can't read which will tell you it's not nearby.

What region are you in? I can actually just tell you if there's an active circle there that I know about.

Oh my goodness, you're so lucky! There are tons of gals in New York! In fact, I know a few. They don't have an "official" circle right now, but I'm sure that if you talk to them they'd be willing to give you tips and maybe organize a meet-up with you.

Mix & Match doesn't appear to be active anymore, but I still see pictures of them together. Their contact info is on the page in the "members" section, and if you search for their blogs and do some clicking around I'm sure you could find more gals near you.
