Bad Brains?

I dig them. I saw HR do a solo gig back around 2005 or 2006 and there was no mention of white devils or any of the homophobia that people have bringing up about him since Bad Brains reformed a while back. He was friendly to everyone there. Perhaps the fact he was effectively homeless and living in abject poverty at the time had something to do with it. But the stories that paint him as tool are also pretty compelling.

I'm not real sure where the whole "classic rock" thing comes from. To get to that you pretty much have to ignore all their work prior to 1995 which leaves you with what? Three albums of new material since then? Then again, there's no point in arguing over the Bad Brains' place in hardcore. its pretty much set in stone at this juncture.
