to be honest, I'm not interested in either Kingdom Hearts or Supernatural, or most big fandoms
( more into smaller anime fandoms )
But it'll still appeal to a lot of SPN fans on Gaia. So there's that.
Just there may also be a lot of people like me? And I would likely not partake in the event since I'd have no interest in the topic.

But of course, you can't please everyone, it's just who you want to please.

there are lots of supernatural, sherlock, kingdom hearts and homestuck items already. dangan ronpa has died out very quickly and it already has a ton of items as well.
i dont know what else would do well, though.

What about a Sleeping Beauty-themed event? Maybe some kind of forum event where we have to post enough to generate the kiss that awakens her. The item grant could be Maleficent's cowl. Without the horns. Just the black cowl that she wears in the movie Maleficent. We have, like, nothing that works for that, and it'd be amazing for general use too.

Maybe something like a forum battle where it's hope against despair
(As you can see I'm not very creative) but like the sentai vs shoujo event where you get an item based on what side your (hopes prize based off of monomi and despairs based on monobear)
