The FBI didn't help much, either. At the request of the Russian government, they denied Tamerlan citizenship, effectively taking sides in the Chechen conflict. Even though they could not legally do anything to incarcerate him, they continued to harass and alienate him while his younger brother enjoyed full citizenship privileges. Makes it that much easier to radicalize a man when it can be shown his old enemies follow him to a new country, where he'd come to build a new life.
Should have gone with my second guess.

So it looks the elder brother became a religious nutcase while living in the United States to the disgust of his relatives. You know when a Christian becomes a religious nutcase and bombs something it's no big deal. But when a Muslim becomes a religious nutcase and bombs something then its time to strip rights from millions of Americans.

That's an absolutely retarded comment, even from you. Christian nutcase bombs something, people scramble to distance themselves from them. Islamic extremist nutcase (note the difference. Not all muslims are extremists.) you get people dancing in the street on the six o'clock news.

Oh? Then where in the United States were people "dancing in the streets on the six o'clock news"

The point you missed, because you're so ******** dense, is that when Christians commit terrorism in the United States you don't have influential members of the government Calling for the government to spy on entire communities of people.

You mean the way the government put Boston in lockdown, broke into numerous private homes without warrants, seized various items they found, and generally trampled on the Constitution?

That's one aspect of this that I haven't seen mentioned often enough.

Speaking of which, have you seen the most recent Meet the Press?

It's like expecting a Christian in NYC to respond to abortion in the same manner as a Baptist from Mississippi
Implying there are any of these so-called "Christians" in NYC.

So that's it, huh? Their motive was the typical "death to America" mentality? Meh, I expected something different.

Statistically, about six million.

Realistically, an amount so small it's negligible.

If you call 75% negligible then, yes.

It's like when they say OH THERE'S A BILLION CATHOLICS IN THE WORLD yeah but how many are the actually real practicing ones? A lot less than half of that.

Well there's a subtle difference in implication.

One is an implied description of a belief system, not dependant on any active participation. The other is an implied label as a follower.
N3bu
not dependant on any active participation.
Exactly. All you have is a bunch of "in name only" Christians. Well, they don't count.

Yes they do. They believe. Therefore they matter in this distinction. Also this fight your trying to pick over some macho defence of your religiosity is irrelevant to the original point I was making.

What fight? This actually helps your point. Since there are practically no Christians in NYC, it creates a cultural environment where nobody displays outrage toward abortion.

As almost everybody in New York considers themselves to be a Christian, just like almost everybody in the United States, that would be a moot point. They either are or are not Christians as Christ would judge - this is not information to which anybody alive is privy.
