However, Machamp makes a better 'all-arounder' due to notably higher defenses and HP.

I would go with Mienshao. As you said, it is much faster, and its BST is actually higher than Machamp's.

It also has a better movepool.

But compare the stats.

Mienshao / Machamp
HP: 65 < 90
Atk: 125 < 130
Def: 60 < 80
SpA: 95 > 65
SpD: 60 < 85
Spd: 105 > 55
Total: 510 > 505

As you see, Machamp has several more stats higher than Mienshao's, but the stats Mienshao has that are higher are SIGNIFICANTLY higher, while Machamp's higher stats are only slightly to moderately better.

In your opinion. I prefer Meinshao. We are allowed our choices and can freely pick whom we like and don't like. There's over 649 for a reason.

I actually want to use Mienshao while I never wanted to use Machamp. Mienshao is becoming a necessity to my party and Machamp never did. So I like Mienshao more.
