Okay, seriously, 6 years old is NOT old enough to get a kid a pet no matter how responsible the 6 year old is. When you're 6, the latest "barbie" or "toy" puts whatever else was new on the back burner. Next year she'll be 7, what's the latest craze then?

Needless to say buy her a ZhuZhu Pet. At least when she gets bored it won't mean the downfall of a living breathing creature.
