People lie about their age all the time. I used to to get onto sites. It's easy--kids know how to add. I was 12 or 13 when I first came onto Gaia.

Yes, people do lie about their age all the time. If little kids are joining this site, they know very well that they are joining a PG-13 site, and that's their own decision.
