We need to hit Gaia where it hurts, its profits. From what I can see at being a one week old user, Gaia doesn't care about the community anymore. They're scrambling for cash and to them it's working, so why should they care? Refusing to use Gaia Cash is a good start, and we should add refusing to spend it too. Doing some bigger actions could also reap more results. One such action could be this:

I'm signing. The announcements are out of control and are just plain spamming at this point. The announcements used to be about upcoming events and seasonal games, now it's just posts about "buy gaia cash!" or "buy these poorly hidden gambling items!"

I'd even go a far as letting us customize ALL announcements we can see; Let us choose if we want to see the new item, the new site features, the new stories, or what-have-you. I work a job that barely pays me enough to keep up with rent and food. I agree to disabling announcements, or at least disabling specific announcements, like new add-ons to the shop. It isn't reasonable or feasible for most people to attempt to buy everything that comes out, given that instead of it being monthly collectibles and evolving items that occasionally come out to today where new stuff that comes out literally everyday. I do like announcements for non-shop things, but that doesn't seem to happen that often now a days. I'll sign~
