I had bariatric surgery because I have a brain disease. It will give me a 50/50 chance of helping with my disease. And, I'm trying not to have brain surgery, so I got my fingers crossed on the good 50% chance ^^

Thanks, I appreciate it. It stinks because, unfortunately, my disease has no cure so no matter what I do it's always going to be there, but the things I do, help ^^

I try to. In the beginning, I had my down moments. I've been depressed and upset about it, but it only makes my symptoms worse. I'm not allowed to cry, because it makes it worse, so, I need to keep my head up. If I need to have a bad day, I have a bad day. If I need to feel down about it, I will. But, when I wad diagnosed with this last year, I found out I have been suffering with this longer than I thought. I was misdiagnosed with migraines as a child and have apparently been suffering with this since I was about 12, and I'm 23 now. I am a big part of a community of people who suffer with the disease and I am learning a lot about this disease through them. There is not a lot know about this and not many doctors know about it. I had to see several specialist and it took three months before I was diagnosed. It's called Intracranial Hypertension. I like to raise awareness about this disease because 75% of people who were told they have this were just like me and were misdiagnosed with migraines, and a lot of people who have migraines, probably don't. And I look at it this way, I've had it this long and I'm going to keep on going ^^

That's why I yell at my mom, she has numbing migraines and has had migraines for like a month straight and ignores them. She is suppose to see a nerve doctor or something - she finally got a catscan or what ever it is not too long ago and they found nothing but she thinks that is the end of it and she should stop looking into it. ><;;;

She is dumb sometimes.
