Community theatre or high school shows are the best way to test the waters

read some monologues from online or at the library......or study diffrent types of characters in movies u watch and decide which of them you are most attracted to possibly portraying! (example: Dog sees God, A Midsummer Nights Dream, etc.)
and be open minded:3

Do you have the opportunity to take any beginning acting classes? In addition to schools, consider looking into local community theatres - I know a couple in my area offer regular acting classes for the general public that run like 6 weeks or so.

But yeah. Ultimately I think acting is something you kind of have to dive into. Look into low-key community theatres or other opportunities to act, and just try your luck.
