Here are two poems I wrote yesterday, it's been a whiel since I've done anything poetic, please critique ^^.

Quote:
Rainbow of Me

Tears of Black,
So simple, unclear,
But they fall with the clarity that my strangled being needs.

Wishes of Violet,
So beautiful, misleading,
But they fly away too fast for me to hold.

Hopes of Silver,
So easy, complicated,
But they're so unreal I can't believe it.

Dreams of Indigo,
So lonely, loved,
But why do they haunt me like the ghosts of my past?

Wings of White,
So true, lies,
They pull me away from everything that hurts.

Quote:
Fact and Fate

Scientific facts,
Predetermined,
No room for imagination.

Religion,
Predetermined,
No room for anything but love for the one who created us?

Science, Religion,
Two opposing elements in a world of mass destruction,
Where people fight for both, by both, using both
Yet do they realize they are same?

Yet you could be neutral,
You could stand and watch from the sidelines as the sky falls around your ears
You have no religion, you believe nothing of science.

It's all a senseless mockery
Of words and figures and facts
Leaving the world to be ravaged by those who use it for their own sick means.

You can't be neutral, can you?
You can't just stand around, letting everything fall,
You have to do something,
But you don't even know what they're fighting for,
Why they even started in the first place,
A never-ending war.
