Someone always tends to ask one simple question,
the question is always “What do you love the most?”
Which leaves us to choose something we love, whether it be a human being, an animal, colors or anything else.
But… saying the word love.. seems to fade each time as if it loses its meaning.
It loses its meaning because it is constantly said in almost anything that people really enjoy.
What is love?
Is it even worth saying the three words in a relationship, “I love you?”
The sentence feels so faded and abused.
Almost feels like nothing,
nothing because it is also used as a lie.
How can we express love when it’s always abused?
Why bother using the three words? It’s just words.
Why are we constantly using words when they are supposedly meant to be special.
What is special anymore?
The word itself, is pathetic.
Special is used in so many terms,
even as an insult.
So, that also leads… “I love you” as an insult in some situations.
It’s mockery.
“I love you,” is a mask of lies,
a mask of emptiness,
a mask of supposedly real feeling
and a mask of “truth”.
But, why does it make us feel happy?
Feel special?
Or even satisfied, unified with the significant other?
Why is it that “I love you,” is a different flow of emotions shooting throughout your body, to your heart… skipping a beat with happiness?
We use love in many ways and it fades as it gets abused over and over.
Said constantly… drowning the person with the word.
So, how else shall we express this thing called love in a relationship?
It is the touch that sends the sensation and joy.
It is not the three words that keeps us happy,
feel like we are wanted,
unified,
or even needed.
It is because they are physically and mentally there for us.
In other words, simpler… the sentence “I love you” is not even needed to be heard for it does not hold the meaning.
It does not express,
it does not hold you,
it does not feel you,
it certainty does not make you feel special.
It is the person… holding you close and the capturing eyes that hold your gaze.
Make you catch your breath,
and make your heart skip a beat.
