Ten beings, inhabiting the same garden, the same smile

One, the stars, who walked most of the mile
Two, the fear, who never tried to be so vile
Three, the fox, who tried to be the voice
Four, the robot, who made the first choice
Five, the child, who reached down below
Six, the forester, who was content not to know
Seven, the lady, who kept them in line
Eight, the angel, who ran out of time
Nine, the trickster, who undertook the shame
Ten, the newcomer, who's shouldered with blame

They fill the garden with their existence
They keep it alive merely by persistence.
