refreshing, soothing, relaxing
warm, animated, frozen, cold
freezing, smashing, melting
lifeless, callous

Dogs
Barking so loud
Playing with their owners
All they want is to be cared for
Playful

DREAMS
all thoughts
ideas

monsters start to scare
brave men banish the beasts
a great rainbow starts to grow

Little Silly Sally Sue

Little Silly Sally Sue
Always liked to dress in blue
She used to think her friends were mean
For telling her that they liked green
She would never ever think
What she'd look like in bright pink
She would always turn her head
From that horrid color red

She would always just forget
About the color violet
She would rather stub her toe
Than wear the color indigo
She would always seem to bellow
When she saw the color yellow
The only color that is fine
Is not purple, is not lime
The only color for her is blue
Just for Silly Sally Sue

Rose Garden

Soil fills this garden
of many thoughts.

Seeds are planted
in this garden of dreams.

Roses are growing,
sprouting in this bed of nightmares.

Thorns are poking
the life out the gardener.

Death is growing
in this garden of fear.

Daisies grow in the future.

Sunset

Ruby lines bless the sea
of everything throughout
the world of dreams.

Fire dances across the sky
as the clouds gracefully
tango away into the night.

Moonlight sneaks the first
look at the amethyst sky,
the glorious panorama.

Bright lights disappear,
fading into the stars,
all before is wiped away
into the void of memories.

Harvest Moon

A great jack-o-lantern
in the sky exists tonight.
Soothing, calming, keeping
all the madness of the past
away into the depths of the abyss.

A pumpkin in the void of the starry night.

Candy Cane

Red and white sensations
fill a mouth with joy.
The sweet Holiday season
has finally come again.

A story that's already told
was written long ago.
Candy isn't what it seems --
not this snowy day.

The colors stand for joy and hope.
For all the world, it seems.
The shepard's cane helps
all lost souls find there way, again.

The peppermint aroma
delightfully amazes all.
The spiral of the colors
is a sweet wheel of fun.

Get some egg-nog and roast the nuts.
The jolly holidays are here.
But, they can never be complete
without a simple
candy cane.

Paper
The ink drops stain
The whites of all spirits
Meanings of life are all compiled
Together with the true source of the light
Images of everything come
Mutually as a whole
Spirits, here, soar

December Clouds

Ghostly dancers crowd
the pale, white stage --
breathing in harmony,
dancing the ring of life.

Their cold, sweet breath
livens the burning audience
in the silence of the night
like a silver light in gloom.

The rhythm of the
music creates a calm,
relaxing feeling that dies
off at the first touch of hope.

Their platform is always
the full circle of hidden joy;
the winter spirits of death
are as merry and bright
as the heavens.

Imagery

Pure, black paint
scratches along with
the qills of life with the
poet.

First-timers all around
the burning, flaming fire
reciting their poetry -- their
oh, so bad poetry with no pictures.

Painters join the crew, but
they get lost in their masterpieces
not knowing what to paint.

The snow gets described as
some white [cliche] angel
or powdery along with the
black, starry night sky.

Ah, the wonders of
imagery shall paint
a picture in the minds of
all.

Bursts of teal hidden
behind night-black circles --
surrounded in a pool, so pure

Hidden Behind Brown

Wild wingdings surround
the top of an empty
tear -- home to the cousin
of the dog's pet peeve.

Skies
turn blue
when all are
sleeping in the
night.
