Description/Defenses
Locations 1-2
We are located in an apartment on the fifty-second floor of a Durem apartment complex's sixteenth building. The odds of you knowing exactly where to find us are next to impossible, seeing as the door leads into an apartment for those not knowing of the guild. To those in "the know", it leads to a victorian style house in the rural area of Northern Barton, a few miles south of Bassken Lake.
Details-1
The house is three stories high, and the door is painted an ugly lime green. The windows are all busted out, the inside is empty, and the paint is peeling. It smells of boiled cabbage. As soon as a person touches the door, they vanish.
Location 3
The person would find themselves in an abandoned warehouse in Aekea, with only a stool in the near pitch black. One of three things may happen.
Details-2
If the person sits on the stool, they are immediately transported back to the apartment building in Durem, but in the seventeenth building on the fifty-third floor.
If the person destroys the stool, they are teleported to the bottom of Basken Lake in a giant squid's den.
If the person touches the stool with anything but their butt, legs, and hands, they are teleported to the supplies room of the Hair Salon in Durem.
Locations 4-5-6
If the first action was taken, the person will note that there is a zipline between the two apartments. They must bust through the window. If they do so, they find themselves in a different warehouse in Aekea, this one is where the decoy guild is. Several gun caches are in crates around the place, and turrets are mounted on the ceiling. If the person walks out of the warehouse, they vanish.
If the second action was taken, they are probably devoured by the squid, but if not they may float to the surface and go on about their business.
If the third action was taken, you remain there until you decide to leave.
Location 7
If the person had used the zipline, they would find themself in front of a run down house in the Aekea slums. Walk in and you vanish.
Location 8
The person would find themselves at a fork in a road in the middle of nowhere.
Details-3
The left fork leads to an old tree that is rather gnarled looking. If anything related to this tree is touched, it teleports the person five-thousand feet into the air, but they float to the ground gently in front of the salon.
The right fork continues on until you reach a great mountain range a few miles ahead.
Location 9
The mountain has a secret door on the peak, a faint outline is etched into a snowy boulder. If opened, it reveals a pitch black nothing, following is the only way to gain access to the guild.
Location 10
You find yourself in front of the apartment that you started at, but something is different-- your palms have strange markings on them. Now is the final decision...
Which palm do you open the door with?
Details-4
If you chose the left palm, you open up a vacuum in space. You are sucked in and most likely killed. The door shuts after you have been sucked in.
If you chose the right palm, you find yourself in an apartment, there is a circular table in the main room, a full pantry, two bedrooms, and a closet.
The bedrooms are enhanced to be many times their size using space magic. Each contains fifty beds, and fifty nightstands next to each bed.
The main room is where the planning takes place.
END OF NONMEMBER DESCRIPTION
-Members already have the symbols etched into their palms, but the left one works in their case instead of the right.
-If members open the door with the right hand, they meet a brick wall.
-If the apartment is destroyed, the maintenance guys can rebuild it in three hours. (1.5 hours realtime.)
-All of the teleportation items and areas are impervious to magic sensing abilities. This includes any and all items that would help you solve the puzzle of where to go. You can only use your intelligence and reasoning, believe me, there is a way to figure it out.
-You know nothing of how to solve this puzzle in character.
