Cassandra simply negated, they were fallen directly under the trap of this being called Pride "No matter" she said as Talon Claw and Raav left "I'll make sure their plan fail, by any means possible" turning to her troopers "Alright boys, get your gear together, we know the nasty habits the 3rd gate has for boarding our ships, I'll be on the..." she wasn't even finished with the phrase when the 3rd gate portals appeared "Brace yourself soldiers, the dance macabre is about to start!"

Donning her helmet quickly she asumed combat position, hand in the grip of her sword as the HUD came online tracking the 3rd gate signal, the first slasher came through, bone blades aiming at Cassandra, in a flash, her sword came out blazing in plasma-ion power, searing the bone blades as she danced pass the slasher, stabbing his back and with a mighty vertical swing bringing her sword out, slicing the thing in half

"Lock down all sections!, battle station troopers!" the next one came, ducking to the side she evaded the attack, while her blade found home on the beast chest, passing as a hot knife throung butter, turning she pulled out one of her guns and shoot a barrage of plasma shots in slug mode, tearing to pieces the approaching slasher "I will crush you all monsters!" her voice echoed on the hangar bay as her heel crushed the skull of the slasher she just sliced in half

The Vangar soldiers joined in quickly, landing suppresing fire on the portals as the beast came out they were bathed in concentrated fire by the vangar soldiers, the lock down started, sealing the bridge and other areas, while teams were dispatched to clean the infestation, automatic defense turrets came out of their hidding places in all rooms where 3rd gate was detected and mercilessly counter attacked, no combat personnel was evacuated by marines to secure places of the ship

In space, Gheller continued her part of the job, barrage of the rail cannon continued as the rest of the Avenger of the Fallen weaponry kicked in, sensors trying to find the source of the 3rd gate energy resurecting the ships

Back on the Hangar bay, Cassandra gazed upon the minotaurs coming out a smile showing on her face as she raised her hand, taunting the beasts

"Is this all your little pure one can send for me? at this rate he will have to come personally for me"

Engaging the enemy.

"We are under attack! Return fire and destroy these scum sucking @$$es!" Nike said as he fired his submachine gun at the third gate that had dared to attack. "Like lightning shall I strike down the enemies of my home and like holy flame shall I cleanse them!" He fired and then reloaded as he smiled vicisously.

Meanwhile his spec ops team, the Hawkeyes were firing heavy weapons such as heavy machine guns at the third gate and taking return fire. "Captain, I suggest we move to a more defensible postion and set up more weapons." Iceman said. Nike looked thoughtful for a moment and decided. "We hold the line here. They come this far but they will go no further, Iceman. They shed much of our blood and that of our allies and for this shall they pay dearly!"

"Info, get on the radio and get some backup down here. We are going to need them if we are going to hold the third gate here." Nike said after firing at the TG that were attacking. They were holding the line but would have to retreat soon if they didn't get reinforcements.

"General, this is the Hawkeyes. We are in need of back up. We are taking effective return fire and we need reinforcement!" Info said into the radio. "We are holding the line but we are going to have to fall back soon if we do not get reinforcements." He waited for the response as he fired at the third gate.

"Captain, we have orders from Rear Admiral Gear to move and engage the hostiles." The first officer reported.

Captain Davidson gave his commander a quick nod and turned to face the front of the bridge.

"Helm come about to barring 672 mark 4. Tactical, have main batteries fire volleys on targets two and four. Lets try to get their attention." Captain Davidson ordered.

The Vanquished came about and powered up its sub light engines for combat manoeuvres. Her forward Kinetic Energy Cannons took aim and opened fire, unleashed salvos of explosive rounds at the enemy craft. Several missile silos opened up and standard anti-ship missiles were loaded, two tubes were fired and raced towards one of the alien ships.

The burst rounds completely missed their targets, these small craft were very manoeuvrable almost like star fighters. The two missiles were intercepted by one of the other craft, it shot out tiny beams that cut the missiles into pieces without setting off the warheads.

Captain Davidson slamed his fist down onto his console as the opening attack was completely foiled.

"Damn." Jef said to himself. "Helm, take us in closer. I want to get up close and personal to these bastards."

The Alien craft were quick, they were able to dodge or intercept the weapons fire that came their way. However, even with several other ships now attacking them, they still pushed on the Apollo. A few more energy beams punched holes into the armor and hull of the small frigate, a couple bodies floated out from the damaged section.

Alex got his orders to launch, his squadron were next on the lift up to the launch bay. His fighter was pulled into position and within seconds a lift took him and his squadron up to the main deck. Alex looked out at the end of the bay, he could see open space but nothing more. The Dammerüng wasn't facing the battle at this time but he knew that the massive ship was moving now and would be shortly. Looking down at his master computer, he noted the five green lights above his main systems and hit a button to his right. The fighter's main engines fired and the afterburner kicked in. His craft started to race down the deck, picking up speed very quickly with no atmosphere to create friction. Bravo Squadron was now in the air and quickly formed up behind Flight Commander Griffin's squadron.

Admiral Taggert was monitoring the battle on his overhead screens, so far it didn't look good. The alien small craft were able to avoid most of the weapons fire that came their way. If only the stations weapons grid was online then those ships wouldn't stand a chance against several warships and a battle station.

Near Vangar Prime, Third Gate Death Fleet
Urnoua System

The Glaucus continued its run through the massive fleet of dead ships, they were able to take out close to a hundred ships, but hundreds more moved up to take their place. The enemy fleet were also starting to get better at shooting, one of the escorts for the Glaucus, a medium cruiser took two Tau Ion blasts to the main hull and was destroyed.

"Their accuracy is increasing, three more Vangar ships have been destroyed. We've also lost five squadrons of fighters." The Glaucus first officer reported.

"Continue on present course and speed." Admiral Lutri ordered.

The Vangar Battlecruiser continued its push, it took a few hits from low powered weapons that its shields were able to defend against. A Combine warship started to move towards the Glaucus , its guns fixed on her. Weapons fire started to rain down on the Vangar Battlecruiser. The first few volleys missed, with one or two shots getting in.

"Looks like one of the big boys want's to play, fire Ion Lancers on full charge." Lutri ordered.

The Glaucus' main Ion Lancers powered up and two blue beams shot out towards the Combine warship. The blue beams sliced right through the weakened armor and hull, but the warship wasn't destroyed. The beams were stopped by a layer of Third Gate armor that somehow managed to grow under the main hull.

"Well that's not good, helm hard to starboard and bring us around for another pass." Lutri ordered again.

Just as the Glaucus started to move off, the Combine warship fired its full array of forward weapons and these ones didn't miss...

Evan stood looking at the dead scanners which frustrated him to no end. He was blind, and with comms down as well do to some updates issued by CnC he had to just sit and wait for the crews to do their magic. Walking irritatedly back over to his captains chair he sat down. " Statue report!" He bark, his frustration showing. As all departments reported in and he did the final tally, it only frustrated him farther to find the Expedient to be at 97 percent complete as it had started before everyone else. His had went to his head as rubbed his forehead, thinking deeply. With a flash of light he looked up to see the scanners and comm started to boot back up, the bridge crew went directly to work getting the systems up and functioning at full. Evan looked down at the holo screen on the captains chair only to be horrified by what he saw. He orders came quickly after that. "Mr.Darrow,quick break us from CnC and get us the hell into battle, I'm not going to stand idly by anymore. Get us to pass along side the Damerung and make them see us as. Ensign, I want weapon system pulled out of hiding and all ready to fire. keep the main batteries under hull as this ships are far to small for it. Miss. Gemini try contacting the TSS Apollo, and see if they know what going on." After giving his orders to the bridge crew he hit the direct comm to the engine room on his chair. "Mr.Henerick, we are entering battle, we are going to need to keep the Expedient together and at full power, also the TSS apollo might need teams to help them get back to dock if they sustain to much damage, be prepared." with a quick let go of the engine room comm he went to full ship comm. " This is your captain speaking, we have enemy ships in Terra Federation space, get to your battle stations." As the sirens rung out for red alert, different sirens inform the dock crew that the Expedient was starting a quick break away from CnC. With a slight shutter fell through the ship, she broke from the station and eminently turned out towards the battle. Once her engines where clear, they burnt bright as they where given full power and the Expedient raced toward the battle, sections of her black hull turned over and opened to revel all her hidden weapons. Speeding up behind the Damerung.

"Negative impacts!" DeBray called seen how the rail rounds missed the targets "Enemy crafts are nimble, our targeting system are having problems to aquire marks!" Aurora remained calm, not showing the initial frustations building up inside her "Mr. DeBray, load the silos with Valkirye cluster missiles and the KEC with timed explosive rounds" Opening the holo map, Aurora finger pointed to one of the ships, the second closer to the Apollo "Target our missiles to that ship, then I want a flak fire making a screen behind the Apollo, if we can't take them down we are going to deter them from chasing our ship" Aurora said, her finger now tracing an area where the flak fire should be, right behind the Apollo "Inform our allied ships and fighter, order Commander Griffin to take out the 3rd and 4th ships with heavy fighter ordinance"

The Dammerüng finally finished its slow turn, the main cannons now aiming at the battle "Full speed ahead Mr. Helms" Aurora commanded, the KEC cannons turned towards the battle, now in range, 20 Silos opened, loaded with the deadly cluster missiles, ready to fire

Trough the starboard visor, Auora saw the Expedient passing "Late as usual" she said as the ship passed "O'Connell, transmit our battle move" communications were send to all ships engaging, inclunding the T.S.S. Apollo and the fighter wings, the Dammerüng waited for the zone to clear, once this happened, Aurora gived the command "Mr. DeBray,KEC fire at will"

"Firing!" in one split second, hell broke loose and the might of the Dammerüng was released in powerful display of weaponry, the forward batteries ligthed up the space as KEC explosive rounds launched forward mere seconds after passing beside the Apollo and in close distance the pursuing ships, the explosive rounds started exploding, creating a flak fire curtain between the Apollo and its chasers with continual fire to force to change course to get out of the artillery barrage now exploding at them

"Missiles ready for launch!" DeBray announced "Wait for the moment they change course..." the CO replied, waiting for the exact moment

"Understood Dammerüng" Vanessa replied on the coms, forwarding the order to all the fighters, the fighter wings broke formation to engage the 3th and 4th ship´, as they turned away, explosions lighted up the space as the Dammerüng started firing "Lets make our own party people!" Vanessa called on the comms "Trail your Jerichos on those 2, lets bring them down! I want runs on those bastards after the first impacts, fire!"

Order given, 2 Jerichos left the hardpoints of each fighter looking to hit the 3rd and 4th ship, after the initial attack, the fighters wings closed in and prepared to make runs on the enemy ships

"Miss Gemini have you made contact with the TSS Apollo?" Evan asked as the Expedient shot past the Dammerung moments before her massive KEC cannon fired. The bight fire filled the bridge of the Expedient with intense light for a split second, it was impressive and shocking. Shocking for the fact that they had to use so much arsenal to take out such small vessels. " Ensign, I want a weapons lock on one of those vessels, now. Mr.Darrow have use positioned for maximum effectiveness but keep us out of the way of the Dammerungs fire." He issued before personally getting contact with the Dammerung. "Sir, the vessels are very nimble and very difficult to get a lock on." The tactical ensign said as he worked busily on trying to solve the issue. " Ensign, you are aboard the TSS Expedient, we make the impossible happen, now get me that lock." With that he looked down at his holo screen as it connected to the Dammerung. " The is Captain Evan Cardinal of the TSS Expedient, I must apologize for our delay, where had some technical difficulties, but we are here to assist. Whats the situation?"

Third gate slashers continued to pour out of the portal.The Minotaur Third gate glared at Cassandra and charged towards her wielding random blunt weapons in their hands.One of them in the back of the group raised a rifle up and open fire at her while charging at her.

New Third Gate lifeforms began to exit the portal as Third Gate spitters began to appear.More and More Slashers began to rush out of the portal trying to over whelm them with massive numbers.More and More slashers feel prey to the heavy amounts of gun fire as the attack in the hangar bay continued.

KMX could almost feel it now.There was something else coming and he didn't like it.Something that was more threatening then the Third Gate here in this area.KMX looked at Eliza and yelled out"We need to get out of here.There is something coming and it will be here soon."It was the only thing he could say at the moment.He never had this feeling before but it was that of fear.He hated it and he didn't like it.

Multiple Third Gate portals opened up inside the medical bay as more Slashers rushed in followed by Omega type slashers being fully evolved and completed in its true form.Its Arms were more like barbed whips with hundreds of small fish hook like needles made to grab onto something and try to rip it off or pull their prey closer to them.

Walking out of the Portal right before it closed a small Child standing at about 3 and half feet tall in what looked like school clothing appeared.He looked around for a moment and smiled as he slowly said"I know your here KMX.Omega Slashers.Kill anyone you see.Let the basic slashers move out and become our cannon fodder for us while we continue our search.Cassandra won't be able to get up here as long at we continue the assault in the hanger bay and soon the Command bridge and their armory."Pride slowly began to walk down the hallway with his Omega slashers by his side while more basic Slashers continued to pour in from one of the Portals with Third Gate Spitters and Rippers.

Combine fleet.
Combine Flag Ship, The Claw.

Talon Claw raised his rifle up and open fire at two more Third gate slashers that tried to enter the main bridge.The sounds of Gun fire could be herd everywhere as Third Gate continued their massive attack trying to take down Talon Claw and kill.By his side multiple Combine Dog units and Combine White Elites with Minions of Exlardain continued to fight off the threat.

Talon Claw looked back at the main screen and said"I want those ships that the Third Gate have taken Destroyed NOW!.Tell all the Combine ships to focus fire on all of the Montana Combine vessels under their full control now before they become something else".

Moments later The Claw shook violently as a Third Gate round made impact on the shields and piercing through it hitting the hull hard.The damage could be seen as several decks could be seen venting air into space.Moments later the area was locked down to prevent more air from being lost. as one of the Combine Officers yelled out"Talon.We got multiple Third Gate vessels appearing.They are a mix of Heavy and Light Cruisers with some of them being half of another ship merged with it."Talon Claw knew it was only a matter of time before this ragtag fleet of junk becomes something more dangerous.Talon quickly said"Can you get a hold of the ships in Hyperspace and tell them to jump now.We need them."

The Officer nodded and after a few moments he yelled out"We can't sir.Something is Jamming our signal."Talon Claw growled a little hating this situation more and more by the second.

Another barrage of Combine Ultra Heavy Pulse cannon rounds open fire sending another volley into the Death Fleet ranks.Dozens of Death ships could be seen exploding in a blast of light and explosions.More Death fleet ships returned fire as they slowly began to turn towards the Combine fleet.

The massive Brain like vessel slowly began to move along with the wreckage of everything else with in its fields of telepathic grasp.Several of its black tentacles wrapped around another section of World Slayer wreckage and pushed it towards the Planet Vangar in an attempt to distract them or cause more damage to the planet.

The bad news for the 3rd gate was, they didn't notice they just came into Cassandra's own garage, meaning her ride, the Fist of Khan was there on the hangar bay, with many many nasty weapons trailed on them, the weapons point opened and revealed the Anti personell 001 batteries, which opened fire mercilessly over the portal, with IFF and energy readings clearly identified, the 3rd gate now found themselves in an entire universe of pain.

Cassandra looked at the minotaur and charged as well, placing her gun back on the sideholster and pulling out 3 grenades, the rifle shoot was deflected by her personal shields, glancing off her shoulder harmlessly, reducing the shields power a bit as she neared the bulky creature she slided in between its legs, passing it and reaching the second attacker, raising as she reached the creature, her sword cut the air and sliced the enemy skin, just as fast, she left the 3 grenades inside the creature and followed to the next as the grenades exploded inside, now facing the minoutar of the blunt weapons, she quickly switched weapons to her dual pistols, ducking the first attack, she gained enough impulse and jumped over the creature, face looking down she pointed her guns down, firing without stopping concentrated plasma slug fire against it once she landed, turning around she resumed firing at the creature head, not giving it a moment to rest

Comms were hectic, Cassandra was quite busy, but responded as she battled, she was used to it, recognizing Nike's voice she replied "Captain hold your position, reinforcement on their way, Fire teams omega and charlie, reinforce the hawkeyes, Fire team Gama, get their hostiles from the back

The entire ship vital areas were now fortified by several fireteams and auto defense turrets, the bridge, armory, engines, life support, comms and weapon systems were locked down and heavily guarded

"General, we are picking up the same strange events from space and the planet in our ship, in the med bay" Cassandra didn't need much to guess what where they after "Fire teams Alpha, Beta, Zeta and Tango, head to the med bay and extract KMX, Gheller Lock down the labs, Spartans, to action, I need 20 of you on the sick bay and the rest on the labs, move!"

AS she gave order, Goliath walkers, manufactured for urban warfare became active and joined the fight, powerful autocannons trailed on the 3rd gate and rained their deadly munition on them as the vangar troopers pressed on, trying to keep them on their portals

Meanwhile, the Onyx-II armored Spartan unit mobilized inside the ship

"Ahmm who might you be?..." she inquired, hearing the voice the nearby "You know what KMX, we better leave", pulling out her sidearm she helped KMX raised from the bed and move outside the sick bay, she knew the hallways were already on defense mode, the turrets already online and it would be their best bet to get out of the medbay "This Lt. Khan, get everybody you can out of the sickbay!" she alerted her personnel, who inmediately tried to get everybody who they could out, in any way they could

"Another chunk of the World Slayer going planetside!" Gheller was already getting tired of this, setting up coordinates, one to wrecakge and other 4 nearby, she gave the order "Fire the Starfires missiles, lets clear that debris field!" at her command, the silos opened, 5 Starfire missiles left the ship and headed one for the wreckage coming to the atmosphere, upon impact, the wreckage was obliterated, the other 4 timed to exploded, created explosiones near the brain like ship, clearing more of the wreckage around it, giving it less chances to find something to use or to hide, not to mention the explosion were so powerful it may even damage nearby ships to the area

"Roger that." He said and shut off comms. "ALL RIGHT YOU THIRD GATE B*****DS, COME AND GET IT!" He said and threw a grenade at the Third gate pouring out of the portal. He wanted to help Eliza but before he could leave the troops from fireteams Omega and Charlie arrived. "Liutenants Jackson and Carloff reporting sir. Thought you might need a hand." Jackson said and ordered his men to set up a defensive line.

"Nothing gets through, or I will have your head. Iceman, you're in charge. I am going to see if Eliza is okay." Nike said as the team was spread out. Omega guard that door. If they get past Charlie, you are the last line of defense." He then put on his helmet and radioed Eliza. "Eliza, if you are on this freq, please respond...I am coming to help rescue you." He said into the radio as he saw the teams continue to defend the hangar bay.

The Kai shook as weapons fire from the Death Fleet impacted on its shields. Shields were holding at the time as only light damage to the hull appeared. One of the bridge droids turned to Ravv "My Lord, my scans show Third Gate portals forming onbroad." Ravv looked at the droid "have all combat unit online and wipe out the enemy. Active the Razors, orders are to kill." He said before leaning back into his chair watching the battle raging outside on the main screen. All throughout the Cruiser, Combat droid Troopers came online and moved to counter the Third Gate units onbroad. The Troopers began to open fire on the Third Gated with heavy evergy fire ripping the enemy apart. The Troopers moved to protect key systems and push back the Third Gate. Meanwhile, 50 weapon locker open followed by red light appearing out of the shadow. Long metal fingers took ahold of the side and pull themselfs out of the shadows. The Razors stood at 7 feet tall, they had one eye that could move to the left and right always scanning for targets. The Razors took ahold of large man-helded weapons and launchers as they moved to attack the Third Gate on the ship. As the machine warriors maded their way to the battle. One of them takes ahold of one of the Slashers that had charged at it. It looked at it as if it was studying it. Which infact was scanning it to ID it. The Razor quickly thrusted its claw like finger through the demon's neck and used it other hand to slashed it body cutting through skin and armor plates killing its prey. The Razor threw the lifeless remains to the side and mached nto battle as t was followed by the other who opened fire with waves of death onpond the Third Gate. Several of the Razors took aim with some of the launchers and began to fire on the Minotaurs trying to take them out of the fight.

Meanwhile on the Bridge.

"My Lord, Ship number three is being overrun and is about to be lose." Ravv nodded "Active Subroute 5, active the shp's reactor and set it to meltdown mode. Active full thrusters and time the meltdown to happend as the ship entered the enemy fleet's ranks then blow it up." THe Droid nodded and did as ordered. The thrusters on the Legion Destroyer became to full power and quickly raced toward the Death Fleet as its reactor was set to blow. The ship's hull took damage as it was attacked by the fleet it was racing too. The Destroyer had passed by an former Vanger cruiser before ramming into an Gaia Fed Battleship that was behind it. Just seconds other that impact, the reactor went to meltdown and the Destroyer blew up in an ray of nuclear fire. The blast was enough to take out an number of ships that were next to it and to damage afew other nearby.

Yzak pointed to the spot infront of the door that leaned to the lab. I want an MG right here, if you see an of those Third gate freaks. Blast them." He told the marines setting up the HMG nest to watch over the lab. Yzak quickly had setted up what men he had to cover the outside of the labs. He even placed seven of the men inside with another MG watching over the door just incase the enemy got there. Yzak placed his hand over his headset as to speak. "This is Wolf One, Lab locked down for now. We are set up to keep them back until backup shows up. We will hold until then." He said before checking his shotgun and taking cover behind an wall and waited.

"Roger that Royal 1, Rangers, fire 2 missiles, one on each target. Then fall in for gun runs." He said before switching his missiles online trageting the 3 and 4th fighter. "Locked on, Fox 2." He stated hitting the trigger unleashing the two Jerichos missiles from his missile points. The missiles quckly raced toward the two enemy fighter closely followed by the other missiles from the other Rangers. After launching their missiles, the squad quickly joined in getting ready for the gun run.

Third Gate Death Fleet.

Death Fleet numbers continued to go down in numbers with the combined force of Combine, Vangar, and Legion forces.From nearly 3,000 ships now down to only 781 ships remain of the Death fleet.What was left of the Death fleet ships were mostly ships that still had good shields and were mostly covered in Third Gate Armor plating growth.Some of the Ships have been transformed into Third gate Light Cruisers with a few of them becoming Third gate Heavy cruisers.

Several Death ships that slowly flickered back to life exploded into flames as the shock waves from the Starfires missiles.The Brain like ship continued to move away from the small ship as more wreckage was thrown in its path as it vanished behind some more World Slayer Wreckage.At this point in time it was ready to set another trap up if they continued to follow it.

Out of hiding 2 Terran battle ships from the Death fleet came to life and engaged the Avenger of the Fallen.One of the ships had no shields and was badly damaged already while the other barely had shields and had little to no damage on it as they both moved in to engage.

On the other side of the Wreckage fields, Six time and space reality rips could be detected as portals slowly began to open up.There was no Third gate energy being detected from the 6 new portals that appeared.

Hangar bay.

The Battle for the Hangar bay continued to rage on as more Third Gate continued to rush into the slaughter.Piles of Third Gate slashers began to pile around the gate as they kept coming.Third gate Rippers and spitters began to rush in also with Third Gate tech slashers also,Half man, half slasher and still wearing body armor and carrying a rifle or weapon of some kind.Spitters and tech Slashers quickly reacted to the battle and took cover behind the slasher corpse piles and return fire.Some of the Third gate portals in the hanger bay slowly began to close as the last few Third gate that rushed out were Terror Bringers.

It wasn't long before Third gate Slashers began to encounter the Spartan teams and ship internal defense systems.They continued to push as more and more slashers fell pray to the heavy amounts of gunfire that shredded their bodies apart.Third Gate Ultra Slashers slowly began march down the hallways now as basic slashers continued to get killed trying to go down the hallway.Bullets and rounds bounced off the Ultra Slasher's armored body's as they slowly pushed forward.Some of the harder hitting rounds only knocked them back as they quickly took cover.

One of the Ultra Slashers fell to the ground hard as a few rounds hit its legs.The Ultra Slasher made a screaming sound as it used its upper arms to to leap forward as its legs were now ripped to shreds from the rounds that hit it.The Body of the Ultra Slasher landed next to one of the Spartans in the hallway and Quickly thrust its Bone blade into the upper leg of the Spartan before dieing.

In the hallway Third Ultra slashers slowly began to raise their arms and crossed their arms using their harden Bone blades as shields.The Ultra Slashers slowly began to push their way deeper into Med bay with basic slashers behind them doing the same thing using their arms as shields.Third Gate Tech Slashers quickly began to take cover behind the Ultra Slashers and return fire at the Spartan and the other soldiers at the other end of the hallway as they got closer and closer.

As Third Gate portals close off in other ships and in other areas new portals opened up right outside the main bridge of the Avenger.Four Third Gate portals opened up outside the bridge.Out of the portals only a handful of Third gate slashers rushed out which was quickly followed by the body parts of Slashers.Rushing in after the slashers Third Gate Hellions rushed out attacking the Third gate Slashers.In only a few moments Third Gate Hellions began attacking everyone on sight as the armored spider like beast began rushing towards the main door of the bridge.

The minotaur died with the concentrate fire from her guns, but she didn't stop her death dance, the next slasher close to her tried to impale the General, but she was fast, and now faster with her new armor, she could feel the energy flowing through her body, the boost the armor gived her, if she was already the epitome of the vangar soldier, a woman not to trifle with, her armor made Cassandra night unstopable now

Parrying the attack with the left, her right came from below, the cannon of her gun finding house on the Slasher chest, a burst of plasma slugs exploded forward, shredding the slasher, mercilessly as the body fell, Cassandra kicked it away, the sound of cracking bones joined the scene, with a twirl, her guns found the holster again as she charged against a new enemy approaching her position, landing 2 solid blows on the chest and a 3rd one to the jaw which separated head from body in a feast of black blood, following in a split second, Cassandra sword came out, slicing the skin of the spitter, hastily she introduced grenades on it, grabing the lifeless frag bag of meat she throw it with might over one of the piles of slasher corpses, the corprse exploded after passing over the pile, causing more casualties among the tech slashers

Slashers made it to the Vangar ranks, causing havoc, but just as the did, the Goliaths pressed forward, supported by the antipersonel guns of the Fortress, pushing them back into the portal, the slashers piles of bodies worked as cover for a while, but the concentrated fire of the heavy guns from Goliaths and the fortress teard the cover apart quickly, bullets piercing and tearing flesh and armor of the enemy

"Ma'am, the source of the time-space anomalities is moving away, two ships approach, most likely covering its escape" the sensors officer announced "Picking up 6 time-space rift nearby, orders?" he asked nervously

"Helm pull us back!" She ordered while looking at the warboard, recently update with the new enemies condition "Get the damager ship with the 2000!, rest of the guns aim for the other one as we move away!" The 2000mm rail cannon fired several rounds at the most damaged ship, as the KECs aimed for the other one, the Avenger of the Fallen moved away as it fired, getting itsels away from the time-space rift forming

"Security inform we have hostiles on the hallway!" Comms called "XO, pass on the guns!, seal the bridge, call the General for reinforcements!" the XO opened a locked and handled every member of the bridge a weapon, SMGs, Shotguns, pistols, those not on a terminal or post manned the doors, outside the sound of guns echoed as the defense forces repelled the salshers approaching, targeting the Hellions as the slashers died down, Automated turrets went online and targeted the new hostiles

The comm reached Cassandra as she fought in the Hangar bay "Spartans on the way, hold on!" she then switched channels to the Spartans "3rd squad to the bridge, nothing gets inside!" The 3rd Spartan squad quicked its pace, near the bridge hallway, the metallic sound of their armored suit was heard, a sound that would cause fear in the enemies heart

Med bay

Eliza pulled KMX out of the medbay as the gun shot started, quickly the Spartans arrived, one getting injured by the Slasher, biofoam from the suit sealed the wound as the soldier continued its march to fight, Medic staff evacuated as best as it could the wounded, but many were caught and died an horrible death "Lt Khan!" one of the called, Eliza turned to them, glad to see the heavy hitters in to help "Get to the Fortress, we will hold them here evacuate as many as we could!"

Eliza nodded and pulled KMX with her as fast as they could walk, 3 Spartans moved with them as escoart while the remaining 17, the wounded one included faced off the approaching enemies, heavy fire from machine guns filled the med bay, canister round, made to pierce armor soared the air, the boned blades not been really a match for their piercing and stopping power, while the hevy fire form the secondary weapons lay suppresive fire on the enemy

On the way to meet Eliza

Nike headed out toward the medical bay as the third gate continued attacking the hangar bay. The troops stationed there were fighting and taking out as many as they could as they fought to keep the TG at bay. "Watch the right! Refuse the flank!" Jackson shouted to his troops and they wheeled around to fire at the TG that attacked. "You three come with me and be heavily armed. We may encounter resistance." Nike said and the three soldiers came with him

"Eliza, come in! Where are you? I am coming to help!" Nike said into his radio. He was worried about Eliza and it showed. A TG came to attack him and he parried the attack, pistol shattering into nothing. He stabbed the thing in the neck and it died, hissing and fighting. "B****rd!" He said and fired a burst of SMG bullets to silence the thing. The troops fired along with him and basically nothing was left.
