Roxx pushed herself up onto the fence on the edge of the park, grunting with the effort it took to haul her body weight and the pack on her back up there. Once at the top she swung a long lithe leg over the other side and straddled the fence, digging her heels in to keep her balance. After settling in, the tech whiz swung her pack from her back and hooked it over her shoulder so she could look into it hanging on the phone. From her pack she pulled a pair of binoculars, which she settled over her eyes to peer over landscape.

"Come on, come on, show mama what she wants..." she whispered to herself as she searched. Bingo!" she whispered triumphantly as she spotted the store she'd wanted. It was a Radio Shack, in the distance. She would have preferred a hardware store, but the electronics in the Radio Shack would have the parts that she needed. She just had to hope that when all the crud hit the fan, people had only looted the things they thought were valuable like expensive cell phones, GPS units, and televisions. That would leave many things she could use behind.

Roxx spotted movement in the corner of her scope, and hand an inkling she should look. So she trained her binoculars onto the moving target and arched an eyebrow when she saw Lain and Skylar walking outside of the fence. "Hold the phone, I know those two... and they are definitely not of the cannibalistic post mortem variety..." Roxx said, once again cracking a joke for her own amusement. She continued to watch them progress and wondered to herself why they were out to begin with. Wasn't Lain always saying not to go out without people knowing? Then again, she was the boss, if anybody could do it, Roxx supposed Lain could. Just as she began to think this, she saw Skylar turn in the direction of the park and begin the trek back, leaving Lain alone out there. Just as she suspected, if the boss wanted to do something the boss just did it.

"And... she'd probably be able to approve a trip to the store..." Roxx reasoned aloud with a mischievous grin. She brought her binoculars back to her eyes and spotted the parks leader again, keeping an eye on her. As soon as she got back, she'd want to speak with her. But Roxx was not the patient type. She opted to try get the attention of Lain by waving the red scarf tied around her wrist in the air. The undead followed noise like it was the dinner bell, but they acted like they were completely blind. The visual signal could probably get the attention of a human, but never the undead.

Sky listened as the girl spoke. The look on her face was one that looked like she was thinking deeply as usual. "If we wait and someone else get's those meds, it's on you Lain." As they walked he grinned under the mask. "You know i have. I am the first awake and the last asleep. I eat first and last. I hide my face. We've been over this." He slid his hands under the hood and slid it down. "As for the waiting, if they draw too much attention, then well i won't go out of my way to save them. We need the meds more than anything."

When she asked about him sneaking into her room he laughed. "I bet you wished i did." He sat at a nearby table with his back against the table so he could watch Lain. "Lain, i don't need to sneak in. I keep track of what we get when we scavenge. If my math is right, we're extremely low." His eyes on hers. He then looked around, no one was around. He slipped of the mask and smiled. "Fine if i come, it better just be us. I don't want to have to protect more than one person." He smiled and slipped the mask back up before anyone would see.

Sky then saw a red movement. It was Roxx. "You may want to go see what she wants." He motioned towards the girl. "Have fun. As for me, you'll see me later." He winked and threw his hood up. He stood and ran at one of the stalls. He jumped grabbing onto the top and pulled himself up and then ran towards the wall hopping over it landing softly. He didn't see any zombies and he walked into a building he had claimed outside the wall where he could hide. He shut the door behind him and slid a dresser in the way.

He made his way to the top floor. He could see three streets from here and he could protect the base. He knew no zombies had gotten in. He sat in a chair he had brought and looked out the window back at the base looking at Lain and her expression. He was happy he was wearing black or she may see him. He looked at a picture he had kept since he had left his home town. It was of his family. He looked at the picture and frowned. He missed his family. He then looked back out the window.

Lain was more then surprised by Skylar, seeing his face was a bit of a treat, yet if he kept acting up, she'd have to slap that pretty face of his. Seeing him run off again on his own made her grit her teeth a bit. She wasn't the type to demand respect from someone, but she felt like she had most certainly earned it. At least a little bit of it.

Yet he was right about the medicine, if they didn't get it soon, it may be snatched up by someone else, which worried her a bit, but she knew better. No one came into the wood-sy area of Jackson just to stop at food store. Six Flags had become a legend of it's own. A magical place that offered a new home, something that could easily sound fake in this harsh new world everyone was thrust into.

Taking a deep breath, Lain would look at the food stall, wanting to eat first, but it was clear the Roxx wanted her attention and seeing her on the gates, she certainly knew what she wanted or at least had an idea. Her little techy needed some new gizmos and gadgets,

If only the guards paid more attention to the comings and goings of this place it would be a little easier on her. Sure people like the Scavengers were allowed to leave more often than most, but they still needed her permission to go out.

Knowing she had no time for food, Lain would easily make her way over the gate after taking a short sprint there. She'd look up at Roxx, putting her hands in a cup around her mouth so she'd hear. "Sup Miss Roxx? Found something you like, huh?" She'd call up to her "If we can get four of us to group up, i'd say we have enough for an outing." She'd add, moving her hands away from her mouth to crack her neck. They could easily stop where ever it was Roxx needed to go and the food store are well.

Roxx smiled triumphantly when Lain gave signs of seeing the signal, and if possible the smile widened when the leader acknowledged her. Without missing a beat Roxx swung her leg back over the fence and climbed down a lot faster than getting up there had taken. Once on the ground again, the technologically savvy woman dusted herself off as if she'd just done something really intense.

"See, there's a reason you're the boss lady, it's like you knew what I was gonna say before I even opened my mouth, uncanny..." Roxx complimented, thinking flattery was as good a thank you as any. "I was hoping we could get to the electronics store. It's not far, just a few blocks. It's a Radio Shack. I've been working on a pet project that I think could be really helpful, but I need equipment and materials. I'm sure they'd have what I need,"

Roxx thought about Lain's four person minimum and her mischievous grin returned. "You don't worry your pretty head about finding enough people for this mission. I'm sure I can find a few other scavengers to go," Roxx said, her mind recalling that she conveniently spotted Skylar walking into a building near the park through her binoculars. She would also "conveniently" neglect to tell Lain about this, since it seemed it'd be to her benefit. Looks like somebody is going to be getting a visitor...

Sky sat in the building for a few minutes and sighed. He needed to get to the store. He quickly put the picture back in the drawer of the desk next to the chair. He walked up to the roof of the building. He grabbed his black backpack from the holder next to the door. He threw his extra gun rounds in it and slung it under his arrows. Sky then started to move swiftly from roof to roof. He jumped elegantly and precise. His training as a sniper in the marines had readied him for running and scaling as if he got caught, he would be on his own.

He made it back to the building from earlier in no time. He looked down on the street. It was packed with close to two hundred zombies. He sighed. "Why is nothing ever simple. Just once i'd like to be able to walk into a place." He shook his head. He was happy he was alone. If he wasn't he would be in the store anyway. He looked. There was no way he could make the jump. He pulled the hood down and ran his hands through his hair. What now smarty. He saw that the alley next to a building that had collapsed into the grocery store was empty. He smiled and put the hood up. He hastily made his way down the wall into the alley next to the building he was on. He looked around the corner and saw the zombies were looking all directions. He sighed.

Sky quickly ran across the street to the other alley. He had practiced running quietly and this time it paid off. At least it would have if a few didn't notice him and they began making their way to the alley. He got into the building quickly blocking the hole with a dresser. He made his way up the building until he found where it fell into the store. He didn't hear or see any zombies in the store so he dropped in. He didn't hear anything at first. He made his way to where he thought the pharmacy would be. He was greeted by two big guys brandishing make shift spears like the one's he had made but these were more flimsy. They rushed him without hesitation. He sighed pulling the bat off his holster. When the first man got up to him, Sky swung at his head with a loud cracking sound the man hit the floor. But he forgot about the second guy. He felt a sharp pain in his left shoulder. He had to stop him self from screaming. He quickly pushed him with the bat The man swung at Sky but he ducked and hit him in the ribs. The man fell over. Sky grabbed the blades off the spears putting them in the bag. He then opened the door to the pharmacy. It had been slightly looted but there was a large supply.

He quickly grabbed what he could. He put the pack back on but instantly felt the pain of the open wound. He went to turn back around to leave when he felt a blade scrape across his face. He instantly grabbed his gun and shot. The man fell over dead. He sighed. The cut went from the top part of his left cheek across the mid point of his eyes and nose. He sighed. He was losing blood and needed to move. He walked to where he entered but zombies were coming. he quickly looked for a back door. He saw one and ran. He opened the door and was relieved there were no zombies or people. He turned to the left. He ran past the alley that was filled with zombies. He quickly ran across the street shooting two zombies in the head to get to the opposite side alley. He saw a pipe and climbed. The pain was extreme and he barely made it to the top. His vision started to blur badly. He ran. Jumping from building to building. He landed poorly every time. Either falling or stumbling but he finally got to the building he needed to. He descended the inside of the building quickly to the bottom. He moved the dresser weakly. He was on the verge of blacking out, blood soaking his clothes. His breathing heavy.

Sky got the dresser moved and shut the door. he slowly walked to the fence and hopped over. He saw Lain and Roxx. He gave a weak smile behind the mask. "I...got the meds..." He the fell over blacked out.

Roxx was an amazing lady, extremely smart and just as pretty. Lain was always amazed by her inventions and just about anything else she could muster up for their little hub. Lain could even say she were jealous of everything Roxx had to offer.

"Pet Project. Sounds awesome." She'd say with a few nods before she'd start to speak again only to be cut off by Sky. She'd turn around on her heels, ready to get on his case about disobeying her again, but he'd just drop, face first onto the ground. Lain would let out a soft groan, and held back a 'I told you so' before quickly dropping to his side.

She'd flip him over, ripping the cloth around the area on his shoulder to make sure it wasn't any kind of zombie bite. Lucky for him, it was a stab wound of sorts. It wasent deep, but she knew it would never heal with Sky's track records. His face, also seemed to have traces of blood, but knowing him it would be best not to remove his hood with Roxx around.

"Alright.. Three things Roxx, Leave a note on the medics door. Tell 'em I'm putting Sky in the Look Down room." She'd pull out a ring of keys, pulling one off and handing it to her. "Then I want you to take these to the storage area and grab whatever supplies you'll think we'll need when we go out to that store of yours." She'd shift through his bag, taking out a few things she was going to need to give Sky a quick patch up and handed the rest up to her. "Three, take Baby and treat her well." She'd gently push the bottom of her guitar up, causing it to slid in front of her. Like clock work, she'd catch it, lift it over head and hold it up for Roxx. "also, if you can grab me a snack, i'd owe you big. Just meet me by cars."

Once her hands were free she'd host Sky up and over her shoulders, grunting slightly as she stood. "Much heavier than I thought." She'd sigh before making her way back to the Hotel, using her teeth to get the spare key to the Lock Down room, which was just anther room in the Hotel, but unlike the rest it had a door that locked. She'd keep people in there who seemed to be a bit too troublesome or too injured to be out in the open.

Once she'd mange to get inside, she'd lay Sky down on the cot, taking off his shirt to to rub the wound clean with disinfectant. Lain would make sure to be gentle as she'd wrap up the wound before moving up to his face. Removing the hood, she'd take a look at the gash, knowing it was going to leave a rather nasty scar, maybe even affect his vision.

She'd clean out gash, deciding it didn't need to be bandaged up, the bleeding had already stopped. She'd force a few pills down his throat and pull his hood back down before leaving, making sure to lock the door behind her.

It was time to join Roxxane.

Roxx had been hanging off of every word Lain said, not really caring to hide any emotions at from the leader. If anything, Roxx could always pride herself on knowing how to read a situation, and when she was with Lain she never felt it would be beneficial to hide emotion or intention from her. Maybe it was just the woman's personality, but she seemed relatively accepting of whatever Roxx needed to express.

However her delight was short lived, because she'd heard a masculine voice resonate off to the side of them, and when she looked up she saw Skylar losing consciousness and falling to the ground. Roxx's signature self indulgent grin faltered, her instinct for loyalty to comrades spiking concern for the man on the ground, even if he was ex-military.

Without hesitating she dropped her pack and ran to Skylar's side, being beaten by Lain by half a second. The leader was on the ground flipping him over in no time, and Roxx remained standing. She figured they would need a runner to go grab a medic or something, so she didn't bother kneeling. Instead she opened her mouth and with a arched eyebrow she said "I thought military dudes were supposed to be tough sh**... I'd like to see the destruction he left behind if he's looking like this!"

Before Roxx could even laugh at her own joke, Lain was giving instructions. Roxx's expression grew serious as she nodded her head in comprehension, and took "Baby" from Lain's grasp. "Right, note to the doc, stock up, baby sit and retrieve snackage. Aye aye Boss Lady," Roxx said, saluting Lain dutifully. Then she shouldered Baby, grabbed the medical supplies and grinned. "Leave it to me!"

Roxx ran off, scooping up her own pack as she ran by it. Her long legs took her in the direction of the medic, footfalls quieted from practiced stealth skills. Roxx may not have been strong, but she was incredibly fast, one of the reasons she was on the scavenger squad. She made it to the medics in no time, and pulled her trusty schematics sketch pad from her pack. She had a pend tucked behind her ear, and she quickly pulled it out, scribbling the desired message in barely legible chicken scratch. Without hesitation she licked the back of the note, activation the sticky adhesive she'd applied to all of the pages herself, and slapped it onto the door. Without missing a beat she was gone again, this time headed toward the Trading Hub area. She skidded past the guys manning this area with a shouted excuse that she was sent by Lain and headed for where the supplies were kept.

With incredible speed she had built from manually breaking into consoles under strict time limits from her hacker days, she placed the pills, gauze, and other medical supplies in their proper places before scooping up a few bandages for the trip. Never hurt to be cautious, of course! She was also sure to stop where weapons were kept, picking up a few extra rounds for her hand gun.

As soon as she finished that, she took off running again, vaulting over the attraction entrance bar and shouting her gratitude to the people out front as she went. She was breathing hard now, but Roxx was made for long distance running... well, except for those pesky boobs that kept bouncing all over the place. She would have to remember to properly tie those down before leaving, so they wouldn't be such a pain. Outwardly she laughed at her own chest discomfort. "Damn it, the struggle is so real!"

Finally Roxx made a stop at the food court, thinking that it was probably for the best if Lain wasn't suffering from fatigue and hunger while they were out. So, in order to not let the Boss Lady down she hopped up onto the counter, laying across it on her stomach and cutting the line of people. "Sorry, this is an emergency food crisis for Lovely Lady Lain!" she shouted at the disgruntled people behind her as she grabbed a ready to go sandwich from a food worker's hand, and snatching up one of those pre-made mustard/mayo combination packs the food court had been stocked with. "Thanks chef!" she said with a smirk before hoping back off the counter. Her hands seemed really full, so she slung Lain's guitar onto her back with the strap resting diagonally across the front of her body.

Again Roxx was off, headed toward the residence area that the group had set up. She figured that Lain had probably moved Skylar at this point, so it was a safe bet to head for the Lock Down room. She finally reached it after weaving around a few people in the makeshift halls. With heaving breath Roxx set down her pack, the supply pack, and Lain's precious Baby gently onto the floor to give herself a break. But even with the things all lifted from her back, she still felt hot.

With a shrug Roxx pulled her shirt up and over her head, leaving her in a sports bra and her jeans. The cool air hit her skin, and she sighed in relief. "Ahhhh.... that's the ticket!" she sighed before leaning against the frame of the door to wait for Lain.

Seeing Roxxane made Lain chuckle a little, she clearly had over worked her, but she knew with those long legs of her's Roxx was built for laying tasks out quickly. At her side now, Lain would wiggle her eyebrows playful at her. "Those coconuts!" She'd chime, gently poking one of her bewbies before scooping Baby up. Lain would give the guitar a quick look over, of course she bashed zombie's heads in with it, but she still required it to come back in good shape. It was a well known fact that killing zombies in style was just half the fun of this apocalyptic world.

"Alright Miss Roxxie, let's get a move on!" She'd start to walk before stopping. "But first, Nourishment?" She'd hold her hand out like a child looking for candy. A smile would brighten up her face she'd take the food, unwrap it and start to shovel into her mouth as she'd walk, eating like she had;nt seen food in weeks. Lain she had a fast metabolism, eating to her was like drug, she honestly could never get enough and even though her figure was fine, she'd always wanted to have a bigger butt. Having an hourglass figure would probably up her sexiness like no other.

"Sorry 'bout making you run around muush. I just hope Sky learned his damn lesson this time." She's speak in between chews, finishing her breakfast she'd use her pants as a napkin before bringing the two of them through the Tunnels for a short walk.

Picking a door with the number 54 on, they'd find themselves in a garage like area right off the gates. They even had a boat, for what, no idea. The rest were vans and trucks, big cars that could carry tons of junk for their little adventures. "Don't mind driving?" Lain would pluck a set of keys off of the wall and toss them at her before hopping into the bed of the truck.

She'd sprawl herself out, getting comfy in the back, pulling her Baby into her lap, she'd strum a little tune, giving them a gentle sound track. Not wanting bring too much attention to them on the road.

Sky awoke in the lock down room and sighed. [******** Lain. When will you learn." He smiled as he slowly sat up still sore. He looked at the bandage on his shoulder and sighed. "Sometimes i wonder why you care." He felt his face and it was still cut but stopped the bleeding. He just pulled his scarf up higher. He then stood in the room and looked at the door that he had kicked down more times that he could remember. He quickly kicked it down and walked out brushing his clothes off.

The first stop was his room where he switched his clothes with a clean pair of the same outfit. He pulled the scarf up and breathed in. He looked for his bow and gun but knew they were in the armory. He made his way there and grabbed his items putting them on his back in the respected spots. He then threw the gun in the holster on his hip. He made sure he still had the thirty arrows and smiled under his now black mask.

Sky left the armory and saw Lain and Roxx enter the garage. He walked in and saw Lain in the bed of the truck. He smirked under the mask. "Yea, i'll go scope the road for you, no biggie." He chuckled and left the garage. He had been wounded more times than he could remember. It didn't stop him from climbing and running. He was just slower. He made his way to a spot next to the garage where he could climb over and reach the building next to it.

He climbed up not straining himself and looked down the road. The block was clear. He whistled down to Lain to let her know. He then started to advance across the roof tops making sure the streets were still clear. He saw a block ahead had a few zombies but no more than five. But that was just on the street. For all he knew, there were twenty in each building. He went down on his knee and hoped who ever was driving would know to stop.

Roxx smiled at Lain as she exited, then quirked an eyebrow at the poke to her boob. "Coconuts? I'd say melons..." Roxx joked, cupping herself with her hands and pushing her breasts up and together. She was well aware that they weren't as big as melons actually, but they were fitting for her body size and shape so she didn't care.

With another smirk she handed Lain her sandwich, then hooked her shirt into her belt loops and grabbed her pack and the supply bag. With both slung over her shoulder, she followed Lain through the hall. She stopped by her own room, leaned in and grabbed her trusty fireman's axe before trotting to catch up to Lain. "Running around is what I do Boss Lady, you don't have to apologize. And if you did need to, I'd make sure you knew," she said with a mischievous grin, letting Lain interpret her words the way she wanted. "So far as Sky, the guy was a marine right? You'd think he'd be good at following orders..."

Roxx nodded her head in agreement to driving after they'd entered the garage, catching the keys and hoping into one of the pickups. She started it up, watching Lain as she entered in the rear view mirror. To her surprise she spotted Sky in the mirror as well. "Stubborn boy that one..." Once she was sure the boss was safely in she watched Sky as he exited, checking for the coast being clear. After seeing that he deemed it safe she pulled out of the garage, waiting to make sure that the door securely shut behind them before taking off.

It was a relatively smooth ride, and Roxx made sure to avoid the area she had seen Sky wondering around earlier. She'd seen the condition he was in when he returned, and she was not in favor of repeating those events with herself and Lain. So she ended up taking an alternate route, driving slowly so that the ex-marine following them could keep up. That was, until she came across a road block two blocks away from their destination. With a curse under her breath Roxx slowed to a stop behind a building and shut the truck off. After pocketing the keys she hoped out of the truck, closed the door as silently as she could, and made her way to the bed of the truck.

Once there she leaned her chin onto the metal of the car and looked to Lain. "Looks like we're walking from here Boss Lady. There's a pile up of cars blocking us with a few brain munchers wandering about. We can try sneaking around them by foot, or taking them out. I'll leave it to you, and marine boy is running around here somewhere..." Roxx whispered, actually sounding serious for once.

Sky watched as the truck pulled off into an alley about a block from his position. He saw the pile up and smiled. Maybe they wouldn't go that far. He quickly moved to the next building where he could See the two girls and the truck clearly. He quickly notched an arrow and sent it flying. It nailed a zombie as it came into the alley with the two girls. He told every one he had gone with that if he shot it, they grabbed the arrows for him so he didn't have to drop and grab it.

He quickly dropped the other two on the immediate street. He grinned behind the mask. Thats when he heard something behind him. He swung around. He was alone. He looked back at the street and downed the rest of the zombies on the immediate street next to the girls. He yelled down. "Make sure you grab my damn arrows." He was down to 20 arrows He then ran off that building and farther down. He looked down and his eyes widened. The street was full. He gulped. He went to go turn but tripped and hit his head on the concrete building. His vision immediately blurred and he had to stay down for a minute and he knew it. He didn't want the girls to get to the street before he could tell them. He began to move when he saw a zombie on the roof. He quickly grabbed his bat and swung hitting the zombie. This took his time and he didn't know where the girls were now.
