Hello everyone, I'm here to promote and hopefully gather interest and potential new roleplayers for the original roleplay known as "The Last Tears of Atlantis"!
This is the brain-baby of our very own 'Inkzie' here on Gaia who began with nothing but a few fantastic doodles and a lot of imaginative back-story going on in her crazy head, but it has grown from a small trial project into something much more exciting and altogether beautiful. Through the encouragement and activity of just 8 individuals here on Gaia, 'LTA' has evolved from a Guild Based roleplay within Gaia's own Guild Network, into an entity all of its own on our own personal Pro-Boards based Forum that will allow for infinite creative possibility for all of our members.
The roleplay itself is purely fantasy based, but we're leaving Tolkien and G. Martin behind in an attempt to create our own worlds, our own realities and our own unique experiences with races and magic never before seen in contemporary writing. Sure we've been influenced and inspired a little, but at the heart of it all is our own personal creativity and the spark for making things up brand new. There are also more futuristic or science fiction aspects to the setting as well, but nothing you need a PHD in Star Trek of Firefly for, rest assured!
Ever wanted to have your very own animal companion? To befriend, fight alongside, earn the trust of and eventually even ride into battle? Inkzie's original creations the 'Draks of Aerdis' play an important role for characters in our world and each new cadet in our roleplay will be granted the opportunity to bond with an awesome, adorable and just plain cool newly hatched Drak companion, hand drawn and coloured for a unique look and style, available for you to show off in your Gaia Signatures and anywhere! Grow and fight alongside your Drak and they will grow too, with awesome alternate forms and incredible Final Stages that you will want to stick around to see!
If you like the idea of exploring a brand new and original universe with a character of purely your own creation, alongside an all-star cast of equally unique and exciting people then this could be exactly what you've been looking for all along. We have Action! Drama! Romance! Adventure! Horror! And a blend of all these and more waiting for you!
As I mentioned already, a large part of what got everything started was Inkzie's doodles and drawings, so if unique art and a freedom of styles also appeals to you, come and give us a look!
The LTA Ledger serves as our Flyer and first port of call for anyone wanting more information on the roleplay's setting, plot and characters. We even have our very own Live Chat so that if any of us are online and about, you can get chatting to any of us right away! And we're a very friendly bunch, (if a little insane), but always happy to welcome new people and answer any and all questions if things look to be a little too much to take in all at once.
We very much hope that at least some people will come and give us a look, the worst that could happen is that this doesn't interest you and you move on.... but in the best case scenario you could get on board with the newest and coolest roleplay on the net and make some great new friends while you're at it!
