There has been a war that has gone on for many ages now. A war that most don't see. Its a war that happens behind the shadow of mind games and allusion. A war where most don't even know their apart of until its to late. When the shadow's that most ignore turn into hiding places for those who watch you...When you find out secrets that you were never meant to know, to find a life that you'd never dreamed of...
A City where corruption takes control, and those without any power are unable to do anything but watch as they things they love, the people they love, become toys in the hands of those who could care less about what it is you may want or need. The need to have power growing within everyone, the war to have the power to control those that are weaker.
It is said that the group with the most power is not feared, and can do whatever it is they want. Though how do you decide who is the strongest? Fighting, killing, black mail and whatever means you can use to climb to the top. To be the best, you have to be heartless, cruel and willing to murder anyone in your way.
But what happens when the ones who must kill someone fall in love with the one they must kill? That they must go against all they care about, the very fiber of who they are to either do what they have been told to do, or to keep what they wish to never loose? Do they keep quiet and loose what they hold close to keep their position, or do they fight back?
This game of chess seems to have more danger in it then any other yet. The pawns not pieces to a board game, but real people. Love lust and greed coming into play as the 'movers' of this game battle out, Gang member against Member. A tricky game where you are to find a way to master the plan. Its either fight and be with your love, or loose them to keep the power you have.
