I update my word count and check my stats obsessively every day. Haha, I totally posted this with 600 more words to go to meet my daily quota! P:

I update my word count rather obsessively too. It's just so cool, watching all the numbers change! Every time I finish a paragraph, or get bogged down, I'm off to update. There's been at least one time where I updated one word. xd

Hah! I do basically this same thing. It's been very rewarding to watch my stats today. I went out to a cafe and just spend most of the midday writing. I'm well past my quota for the day, but I really want to keep going! Without that pressure, though, it's hard to get back to it--especially with so many delightful distractions about. P:
