Regretting making the nanowrimo commitment?

I would've done Nanawrimo - it would've been my first time trying it out - though, seeing the time, I think going into this 5 days late would be murder, as cramming out words in their thousands would be impossible for me to do in a day. gonk

i may not finish it, but just burn out a small novel. its my first year, i kind of didn't expect to finish. razz

I keep wanting to do this, but I have to work and I've been sick. It's the sixth or so year that I've wanted to participate, but knew I wouldn't be able to put in much time. I knew I'd probably regret it if I joined, but you're doing it now, so any effort you put in should be good.
