I'm going to be fluting in the Memorial Day parade

I'm a frosh in highschool and every year the concert band marches in the Memorial Day parade. I feel uncomfortable with the thought of marching this Monday because I just received the marches at the beginning of this week. Not only that, but it's supposed to be 80 degrees and we wear thick purple suits & hats as our uniform - just the thought of it horrifies me. I know the music well enough to play standing, but adding moving while playing just complicates it so much.

That sucks. I didn't get the hang of marching band until midway through sophomore year. Luckily, the parade will be over soon and you'll be more prepared for it next year.
