theres a program i use called PowerTab Editor. Anyone know of it or use it?

Yes, I know of it. I don't write anything on it (yet)...just use it to learn songs through tabs, and it's great to include notations as well. But yeah, I intend to learn to use it someday, actually.

Yes.... although this might belong in the Musician's Forums too...maybe. Maybe not too. Depends on the intentions of it's use to the topic.

It's a program that lets you write songs in tablature and notation form... and you can hear your results through MIDI as well. Most people transcribe actual songs and they are listed on the Power Tabs site, so others can download them to learn the songs on their guitar. The tablature/notes are much more reliable than any other tablature site because you can hear if the transcriber made any mistakes in writing the song, and you have the whole song available to you as well, as it's written in sheet music context.
Also, it's free. Which is great.
