First of all, I think it's impossible for religion to completely not exist because it's just something humans do. Every base religion was independently created from any other, and I think it would take a differently constructed human psyche for religion to not exist.
Secondly, because sex is another thing that will always exist, there will always be opinions on sex, and some people even without religion would think that homosexuality is wrong.
There are people here and now who are not religious but still think that homosexuality is wrong, or people in religions that don't necessarily dictate that point of view.

but if there was no religious argument against it there would be no moral objection to it.
But it doesn't take religion to know something is wrong, for example, murder. We can, pretty much, all agree, no matter what religion one may have, that murder is wrong. Same idea applies with rape.
Though, without religion there would be no standards to what is bad because nothing is set in stone to be good?
