I joined on gaia but I'm playing it on facebook, do I still get my gold bonuses? It won't allow me to connect with facebook when I try to play it in the gaia pop up window. Or is it only to join on gaia and to play on facebook? I don't understand ... help?

you play it on facebook. its hosted on facebook..like an app. like farmville or w/e.

You can only get gold when you're playing on Gaia. It won't work if you play it on Facebook.

For the connection, Go to My Gaia > Friends and click the blue button says "Connect with Facebook."

I allowed access to the app but it still won't work.
